A cute little charger (if chargers can be cute) that does what it says it will…
I was cleaning out some drawers the other day, and found an older “tactical” style flashlight with rechargeable batteries. But of course, the charger for the batteries, which have to be charged externally, was long gone - who knows where! So I was happy to get a chance to try this Yonii charger from Amazon’s Vine Voice program. And it did the trick and more. Not only can it charge the Li-ion 18650 batteries for my flashlight, but it can also charge AA and AAA batteries – both the Ni-MH and the Ni-Ca types. And it can also handle a bunch of other types - see my picture of the front of the box for all of the batteries it can handle…The first batteries I tried were, of course, the 18650s for the flashlight. (See the second picture.) They fit readily into the adjustable size slots, I connected the charger to an old 5V/2A wall charger of mine via a micro-USB cable, and presto! The charger has the option to choose 1 amp or 2 amp charging, and there’s a little chart on the back of the box telling you how it behaves with the different choices. (See the third picture.) I chose 2 amp charging since I had two batteries. I was a little surprised when I came back and it had reverted to 1 amp charging, but then I noticed that one of the batteries was already fully charged, so now it was as if it were only charging one. If I’m interpreting this behavior correctly, that’s a nice feature to have. You should note that a micro-USB cable is included in the box with the unit, but that a wall adapter/charger is not. But people tend to have old wall chargers around, and 5V/2A is a pretty standard size, so this shouldn’t be a big issue for most. And they are not expensive if you have to buy one. I also tried this with a 5V/1.5A charger I had sitting around and it worked as well. The little user’s guide for the unit indicates not to go below 5V/1A though, or it may not work. Finally, I also tried it out with some rechargeable Ni-MH AA batteries I had on hand and it worked great for those too. So all-in-all, I’m quite happy with this little charger, and will be using it a lot in the future.

Compact and well-featured charger for my tactical flashlight & laser-tool batteries
The media could not be loaded. ITEM: Yonii Q2 Universal Smart 18650 Charger, 2 Slots with 1A or 2A charge rateAT FIRST GLANCE…..The Yonii Q2 Universal Charger has been true to the advertising. It’s capable of charging the unique type batteries that I now use in my tactical flashlights and also some laser-level tools. And it will also charge your Ni-MH and Ni-Cd AA and AAAs. I was also impressed with the upgraded display; showing charging details, not just ‘charging or fully charged.’FEATURES…..Adjustable Length 2-Bay Charger: Various battery types and lengths will fit this charger.Battery Compatibility: Li-ion 10400 thru 26700 Series, Ni-MH/Ni-Cd A/AA/AAA/AAAA and more.Compact Design: This charger is small enough to easily pack with my photo-video or tool kits.Dual-Ampere Charging Rate: Allows choice of 1-amp or 2-amp charging rate.Detailed Display: Shows progressive charging of each battery in 25% increments.MY EXPERIENCE…..When I found that I had multiple devices that used the 26650 and also the A123/17335 batteries, I felt it was time to find a stand-alone charger. I say ‘stand-alone’ because a few of my devices offer ‘in-device’ charging. That’s a nice feature, but with a flashlight, and not wanting any downtime, I felt having a dedicated stand-alone charger would be a good idea. I’ve also found that this charger can charge nearly all the more standard rechargeable cylindrical A-series (AA and AAA) batteries I use.

Inexpensive yet flexible charger
I needed a charger that supported 18650 li-ion cells yet I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg because I already have a ton of battery chargers for standard 1.2v cells. This little gem fits the bill exactly. It's tiny and dead-simple to use. Just plug it into a USB power brick that supports at least 2A and put a battery in. The charger does the rest. The manual says it will automatically select charge current based on the detected battery and available power but it only charged the cells I tested at 1A. There's a button to select charge rate but generally I prefer to charge at lower rates so the default is fine for me. The two charge bays are independent and support charging different chemistry batteries at the same time.It fits most available Li-Ion cells (button and non-button type) as well as most Ni-MH and Ni-CD batteries. I tested this charger with both Li-Ion chemistry and Ni-MH and it worked great. The LED indicators show overall charge rate and per-cell charge level during charging. The charge level indicators change from flashing to solid as the charge level increases providing a simple visual progress indicator.Although though this charger supports charging the smaller AAAA and AAA cells using higher charge currents will wear them out faster than lower currents so you probably want to avoid using this charger regularly for smaller cells. For the price this little mini charger can't be beat. Recommended.

Great basic charger...
This is kind of a no thrills charger, but I really like it. Well enough made for the purpose. I picked it up for charging 18650 and 26650 batteries and it works perfectly for that task. I put both types in and they charged just fine. Why I really like this charger... you can fit two 26650 batteries at once, the slots are nice and wide. Many other multiple slot chargers won't fit these cells right next to each other, the slots are not wide enough, but this one is! I also like that you can ramp up the charging to 2A, another thing that tends to be rare with chargers. And the best, the price!Love this charger and highly recommend!
