I have two of these snake cleaners now and if you are still cleaning your guns with rods and patches buy one of these now. Nothing makes cleaning a gun easier than one of these snakes. It cleans and oils in a couple of pulls through you gun's barrel. I put gun solvent on the section behind the brush and oil on the next section. I pull it through the barrel 2 or more times (depends on how dirty the gun is) and you are done. Once the snake is soiled I put it in a mesh back and through it in my washing machine. That's all it is. No running a ton of patches through and having to clean all of them up. No getting gun solvent or oil all over everything. Even after a heavy target session it takes minutes to clean my gun.

Great value and works well. One suggestion would be that somewhere on the bag of device they state what calibers. Since I ordered sever of these I don't remember what caliber this one was for.

I keep losing my bore snakes so I'm glad I found this little guy. It saved me money, works just as good as the twice as expensive model, and now I don't feel quite as bad about losing it.

Not much can go wrong with a bore snake if made properly. At much cheaper than name brand, it works great.

I shoot light loads and cast bullets in my .44 mag. This is fine for the kind of light cleaning that I need to do.
