OtterBox iPhone 13 Mini & iPhone 12 Mini Defender Series Case - Black, Rugged & Durable, with Port Protection, Includes Holster Clip Kickstand

This cover protects my phone well. I dropped this several times since putting it on, even when hiking. The holder is not reliable with too much body movement (like hiking rocky terrain) and my phone fell out of the holder and dropped, bounced, rolled down the rock hill about 10 feet. It was ok! No cracks. The covers for charging and sound on/off was at first irritating because you have to open & close them all the time, but after the drop, realized the importance of them, it protected from sand, dirt, and moisture. This cover is awesome. If you’re clumsy and dropping phones, this cover is for you! I had a screen protector on but the cover was overlapping so the screen protector was getting pushed and air bubbles formed at the edges. I didn’t want to get another screen protector since it was new so I trimmed it to fit the cover. Otherwise screen function ok, screen viewing is not affected. Was worried it may look bulky but it’s not bad at all. Product arrived with box damaged but inside was intact, shows how sturdy it is! It was also dusty so I didn’t have good feel about it at first but after wiping it down, it was ok. I’ve been wiping with disinfectant wipes for 4months now and still looks same. I was also worried about my camera lens, but the cover is slightly deeper or elevated so if you drop on flat surface, it will protect the lens.

OtterBox phone cases combined with good tempered glass screen protectors have saved my phones from being damaged by multiple falls over the years. This one is great as usual.

Best holder on the market

I refuse to have a phone without otterbox defender. Its absolutely the best case out there. Outer shell rubber prevents shock damage from dropping. Phones get dropped all the time, mine especially. If the bottom rubber is in place covering the port, it can even survive a puddle. Some people want pretty cases, like your kids probably.Ignore them, It can probably survive a teenager's tantrum throwing it against floors and wall. Trust me they will do this. The cost USED to be 45$ and Id still pay it because it was that necessary. When I got the Iphone12 in the mail, I refused to switch to it until the Otterbox defender arrived. Not worth the risk to 1000$ phone.If you're going to spend that much $ on a phone, and you don't protect it with a durable case like this for less then 30$; you deserve to be spending 100$ on repairs, new phones sooner then you need. How financially smart of you.

Actually, I’m not sure if the problem is with the Amplify screen protector or with the Otterbox Defender case. The left vertical corners of the screen protector did not adhere to the screen after I put my device in the snap-on shell of the Otterbox Defender case. The screen protector was easy to attach using the instruction sheet, but not so easy on the eyes when looking at the ugly corners after attaching the snap-on shell of the Defender case. A POSSIBLE SOLUTION TO OTTERBOX: increase the depth of the snap-on shell to accommodate a screen protector and the problem MIGHT go away. Reviews of this product calling attention to this problem indicates that one corner, two horizontal corners, or two vertical corners are affected; I haven't seen, or maybe missed, that diagonal corners are affected. This problem MIGHT indicate that not all four corners of the snap-on shell are locking properly. Is it because the shell is not deep enough to accommodate a screen protector? I don't know, but equal locking pressure on all four corners of the snap-on shell MIGHT solve this problem. The only way to find out is to increase the depth of the snap-on shell to accommodate a screen protector. I returned the the screen protector but am using the case without a screen protector.

Have had two of these cases and really is the only one we prefer to use. Keeps phone well protected, clips on to belt area easily. Very good value for the price. It’s extremely durable would take a lot to break this. Easy to clip and unclimbed, to take front case off of f the phone. It’s looks sturdy, and is.

The Otterbox Defender Series case fits my iPhone 13 mini perfectly. On the box it says Otterbox Defender Series PRO and New Design. It also has antimicrobial defense. It didn’t say any of these things in the description. It is much like my previous rugged Defender case, minus the screen protector. Has covers for the Lightning port and the mute button. Case comes right up to the edge of the display, leaving just a tiny bit more space than needed around the edges for the Ailun screen protector I also purchased. Easy to install. A bit bulkier than other cases, but that's what I want from a Defender case. I'm confident my phone will be well-protected in a fall. The case is just grippy enough to be easy to hold without it slipping out of my hand, but not too "sticky" to prevent it from easily slipping the phone into my side jeans pocket, or shirt or coat pocket. I couldn't be happier with it and wouldn't change a thing about it. It's a no-brainer for 20 bucks.
