I have to say, it is as equally impressive as this revolutionary microprocessor. The book is a perfect companion to teach students. Tony beautiful breaks down the hardware, history, various languages, programming concepts in a way that a 6th grader could understand but mature enough to be given to a High School Intro class. and up would understand. Through real world case studies, examples and challenges called Tony's To-Dos students will move up Bloom's Taxonomy quickly and elegantly. Very basic book - got it for my 7 yr. old nephew and niece to start playing with software. They loaded and modified code within a few minutes of getting things powered up. This isn't an in-depth user manual - it is a set of hand holding how to do specific projects.

This is a very basic book. Had I realized that it contained the equivalent of what several google searches could turn up. I would not have purchased the book. I read the book with-in 25 min. My son got board with it and just jumped to the google searches.

I can already use one of the examples in a project I'm working on, very good.

Nice but would like color... Although I realize it is expensive and would increase the price.

Uses black-and-white pictures to display color-coded programming blocks.They're almost impossible to read.Book by Mike Tooley is better.

I'm sorry, it was a repeat of the online instructions.

The book's content is fairly decent. But's also very dated. This would be a poor choice for beginners as I expect they would get very frustrated trying to follow it.
