Pros: - If you're looking for a hand made, old fashioned look, you've got it. - Nice thick paper. Textured and soft. Off-white. - Color accurately depicted in photos - Leather - Fun to write in - Unruled paper - I personally enjoy righting on black paper, but it's not for everyone. If you're looking for a journal with ruled paper, this is not the journal for you.Cons: - Delicate. The pages seem bound in with very delicate twine. I would have opt for something more sturdy. No pages have fallen out, but this product should be handled with care. Though, this is somewhat to be expected. - As you may have read in other reviews, the page number listed should be halved. They may have fixed this but double check. I chose to go with this 100 page journal and glad I did, especially if you consider the small page size. - Pages bleed ink. If you're writing with what I would call a "well-inked pen" the ink bleeds through page. All the more reason to buy the more-page model.

I bought this for my mother as a gift. She wanted to use it for the her herbal recipes and other little keep-sakes. Everything about this journal is great. Great for a gift and great price!Pros: The leather is soft, beautiful, and durable. The leather strap does good to keep the journal closed and the size is perfect to keep hidden away if needed. The pages are an off white but it is clean when writing on it. The pages are rough on the edge and not all are perfectly shaped, but it will not bother you at all. It just adds a unique touch to the product. The pages are put in together but sections, but my mother likes that because it can help keep her recipes organized. The company is polite and kind and offer amazing customer service!Cons: On the back, (I believe), there is the company logo imprinted in the leather. It's small and is it not noticeable. If you run your hands along it might be the only way you'll remember that it is there!This product is amazing and the quality is great. My mother was so excited to get receive this!

This journal was very small. I was looking for a book that I could add photos to along with clippings and my writing

Good blank book for keeping track of notes. The pages are unlined but that does not bother me. The finish is a little rough but that give it a hand made rustic look.

The book is very nice. Mine has some glue or something on the leather cover but not worth returning. It is built well and will be a nice journal for me

Bought this for my friend who is an artist and a writer. She loved the gift. Perfect to hold and use. She is a lefty and it is hard to find journals that open the right way for her comfort. I suspect she will use it on her trip this month and that the leather will look even more beautiful as it ages! Well made.
