Civil War II Amazing Spider-Man

The condition of the book was great. Story arc is good.

Interesting read and for the price I payed, it was worth it. The only thing I warn readers about is that it really has nothing to do with the Civil War II storyline other than Ulysses, and Spider-Man talking to Captain Marvel near the end . But as a standalone book, it was worth it. It is short though so watch out for that.

THIS WAS A GIFT

Has very little to do with Civil War II except that Ulysses is in the first issue. Which I think is probably a good thing because this was far better than most comic book event tie-in stories. Gage was woven an interesting tale of redemption and personal responsibility.Spider-Man takes Ulysses out to show him the ropes and get a feel of what his powers really can do. Ulysses sees that one of Peter's employees will become Clash again in the future. So does knowing the future cause the future to happen because it changes how one acts? Clash is a very interesting, complex character and I look forward to seeing more of him.The story is only 4 issues with the last 2 issues a reprint from a couple of years ago detailing how Clash gets hired by Peter Parker.

Only problem I have with this Collection is the last story needs to be first. Otherwise it's out of order. Apparently Civil War 2 and Ulysses was placed first, but that story follows the last.

The comics have become the worst thing of all time these days.. Comics used to be great, inspirational and entertaining.. These piece of crap are none of it.. Don't waste your money and time on these craps

Cet album qui porte le badge "Civil War II" présente en fait une histoire en quatre parties avec en son centre le personnage de Clayton Cole, un ancien "super-villain" sous le nom de "Clash", descendu ensuite au stade d'"homme de main" d'un autre super-villain, mais qui est à la base un scientifique et qui s'est racheté depuis que Peter Parker l'a embauché chez Parker Industries. En "extra", ce trade paperback contient une aventure en deux parties qui narre ce "rachat", mais que l'on avait déjà pu lire récemment dans 'Amazing Spider-Man: Worldwide Vol. 2'.L'histoire repose, comme l'ensemble de la Seconde Guerre Civile du Marvelverse, sur une prévision, une prémonition, un futur possible - on ne sait pas exactement, et là se situe le problème - décrit par Ulysses, un tout jeune Inhumain, qui a vu Cole revenir à son comportement de super-villain. Ceci va instiller chez Peter Parker / Spider-Man (son "spider-sense" est impuissant pour détecter le vrai du faux dans les dires d'Ulysses !) une surveillance renforcée de Cole qui, ajoutée à une intervention du Robot Master, va précipiter une catastrophe.Ce récit est très bien mené et écrit par Christos Gage, qui est étroitement associé à l'arc "Worldwide" piloté par Dan Slott, et dessiné par Travel Foreman, dont on se souvient notamment, dans la période de récente de son travail pour "Animal Man". Le graphisme de Foreman est plus aigu que pour la série de la Distinguée Concurrence mais aussi peut-être moins précis, mais il participe fortement à la très bonne tenue de ce qui aurait pu être une figure imposée de l'événement "Civil War II", totalement gratuite et sans intérêt, mais qui est au final un récit important dans la continuité de "Worldwide".
