I'm still new at using polygel no bashing please!!! the blue pointer finger is form this set so any tips are appreciated!!!! But Polly gel is amazing and I have recommended it to so many people and will continue recommending polygel over acrylic! #1 No monomer smell!!! it is slip solution or alcohol!!! which really helps I don't get headaches and I can do it sitting in my living room without my house smelling toxic!! It is quicker and a bit easier but still just as difficult! The hard part for me is now forming the gel correctly to look like thr correct shapes it's almost like relearning acrylic shaping but a bit harder (for me lol). even though my nails are shaped different than most and are wide at the tip of my nail and that dose not help much lol but i have tryed many nails/forms and right now idk i will find a way to perfect it! im still sticking to gel over acrylic!!!

I bought this builder gel in a bottle to use on my nails to protect them because they're pretty brittle. I've bought their brand products several times before without an issue so I thought I'd give this a try. I am highly disappointed. It doesn't dry. I emailed them and was told it was just a sticky layer and use slip solution to remove it. When I did that it took all of the products off my nail because it wasn't dry. I tried to dry it with my big size led/uv lamp, my mini led/uv lamp, my beetles mini lamp, kiara sky mini lamp and even my flash cure flashlight and nothing dried it. Even after several minutes. I feel like I got the run around and I will never buy their products again. If you want builder in a bottle I suggest another brand unless you're into being disappointed and run arounds. I'm going to be returning this because the frustration isnt worth it

It is pretty thick as I’d hoped.... because I did not want some thin crap of a painting polish(I can get that in a bottle...lol). I have not used it yet, but I will UPDATE ONCE I USE IT.Update::::: I tried one of the colors, silver/grey. It was AWESOME! If the other colors are as great as this one.... I will never buy regular gel polish in the bottles AGAIN! I mean, ...why? I only had to use one coat to get a beautiful color (by the way, I used it as a full polish color.. not drawing nail art on my nails). Oh, I forgot to mention that I was able to use a silver chrome powder on it and it popped! I wasn’t sure it would’ve worked because your supposed to use chrome powder on top of black gel polish in order for the chrome effect to work. But surprisingly it worked and it was amazing, I got lots of compliments on it.... You will be more impressed when I tell you it was on my toes. Considering people noticed it all the way down there on my feet and gave compliments I felt it to be impressive. Hope this review helps you make an informed purchase, if so hit the “Helpful” button. This is the first builder gel I have tried and I honestly won't try any other brand! I used it over a nail tip and it keeps my nails nice and strong. It has lifted, however I used a nail clipper, then filed it and then filled in with a coat of gel and viola! Doesn't even look like I repaired it! It does take a little bit getting used to using the product, but overall is a smart purchase. The thickness is what you make it to be and the clarity is crystal clear. Set it under a UV light for 60-120 seconds and you're done! I suggest at least 3 coats.

I have done nails for quite sometime. After using this gel, it will not fully cure after 5mins. I didnt want to over do it in the uv lamp. The nails would pop off easily. I do not recommend this product.

I wanted a nail harder and I wanted a break from nail extensions. I thought I'd first try this builder gel as a nail hardener while I got some major cleaning done around the house like scrubbing my oven and stove top. I played with this manicure a little by adding a butterflies and nail stickers. I did this days ago and it's still holding up great! I'll definitely use this as a nail extender next!

This product is awesome it’s affordable and easy to worked with I have no problem doing 3D and capasulating effect. Good for building nail and light weight.

When I initially opened the box I was disappointed with the size of the gels so I didn't except to like them, honestly. Opening the gels was a sticky, complicated mess but that might have just been my inexperience since I'm not a professional. Overall, my nails came out pretty well and this gel cures pretty easily with a low watt LED. I still wish there was more product so we'll see how many sets I can get out of these but I'm not mad at it.

I have just returned this gel, I couldn't get it to cure in Led or Uv Led lamps, very disappointed it sounded fantastic, I haven't got my money back yet, but I only returned it today, it must be a faulty batch, I don't recommend it, but I hope the seller gets is sorted before there's anymore disappointed customers.Updated. I have now had a refund and would like to thank Amazon for refunding so quickly.

The media could not be loaded.  First time using forms and builder gel. Vary happy with my nails. Need to Practice so as to not get bubbles but lovely clear. Over all easy to use.

Not very pleased with this product. Sounded amazing from the description but despite applying only thin layers, it took almost 10 minutes to cure and even then it's still quite flexible. The second nail I did, I cured for ten minutes and the tip itself wouldn't cure at all. The gel on the nail set lovely but when I removed the form it took all the tip along with it. I don't have time in my life to cure for that long so it has gone in the bin. Waste of a lot of money :(

So firstly ... the pots come really tiny but I though “that’s ok ... there’s 4pots of gel” WRONG!!!!! So the nude pink gel worked like dream, cured first time, no lifting on the nails! I dropped the pot on the floor after getting 4 applications and spilt a lot. But it’s ok, no use crying over spilt gel! “I’ve still got theee tiny pots left” WRONG! In spite of prepping nails text book style, and employing the same technique that has worked forever ... the three remaining pots DO NOT CURE!! The white ... beautiful colour, does not cure, pink but of an insane colour but ... will not cure and the clear seems good consistency but DOES NOT CURE! I’m so frustrated to watch meticulously prepped and primed nails just sliding off in spite of a 2 minute cure. Don’t waste your money! I’m off to shop for the normal brand and I shall never consider this shoddy product again. Frustration is worse on account I broke my thumb nail and I can’t even repair it because this DOES NOT CURE!

The gel is very thick and sticky, so not easy to mold into the nail/shape. Difficult to get the hang of. Not sure about the base coat first part, as am sure the gel builder does not adhere properly. Would not use or buy again.
