Christine Valmy Lotion X Blackhead Melting Solution, 4.73 Fl Ounce

Sorry, writing this day after use, after first use, so I don’t have visual reference for how much “stuff” was cleared (you know like nose strip reviews where you get images of all the gunk someone took out).I came across this product just online on brand website a few weeks back, but forgot to order. (Apologies for side tracking into a security ramble) I hate ordering from brand sites and try to minimise this as I just know that their security is not great at best and the more you take those chances with sites that aren’t leaders in tech or buoy using highest levels of encryption available.. you are literally sending your financial info out into the void and hoping to not have it stolen. So I was so pleased to see that it since then became available on Amazon.Review:I was sceptical to say the least after seeing that the ingredient list did not contain any ingredients that I’ve not already had in various skincare products or extracts/essential oil I’ve combined myself in trying to find anything that clears up clogged pores.Backstory/Skin Context:34 turning 35 soon. Never into skincare - wash in shower with whatever i wash hair with. I have always had oily skin with large pores and blackheads (though not black) on my nose. Then in my mid 20s to 32 this exponentially spreading to cheeks, between eyebrows and chin. In past 2 years it started upsetting me some and something I was becoming less comfortable with becoming pronounced (I don’t care to have “flawless”anything, just so long as its not something that glaringly stands out as upsetting when I look at myself). But in part year I’ve experienced some extreme likely hormonal change that drove my oil production into hyperdrive. No amount of washing no AHA/BHA/PHAs, benzoyl peroxide, tea tree oil, sulphur (can’t speak for retinoids as I’m just trying them out) would make a dent in reducing. Blackhead removal products only removed some from corners of nose but overall not enough to make any difference to keep doing. And anything removed would be refilled same day as if skin believing this is an essential part and no cleared pore should remain this empty lol.WORST part we’re never what one can describe as “blackheads” but all other various types (different from area to area) of sebum “things” (best I can describe even after studying every type of technical name I could call these skin features or issues.For example - on chin only a bit are in the blackhead category of something that without damage comes out clean. Most of it, is too much sebum in every way like the sebum glands being too full, like the oil sheeth around hair follicle being to thick and sebaceous filaments almost confused for blackheads.(Yes I will be going to a doctor and dermatologists as topical treatments aren’t doing it and taking birth control - it just can’t be overall healthy for anyone with possible undefined hormonal based imbalance)So most of the sebum cannot simply be “extracted” like tweezing out a large easy to pick up blackhead. Making every pore cleaning solution on the market just ineffective or damaging.So imagine my surprise that after following one application to just the under lip chin area (though not using q-tip but a warm cotton cloth paper towel - p.s. Vivo signature cloth is like the top product for face towelettes - to gentry press/wipe after) showed me the following results:- I was thrown off at first to see that no “extractions” were noticeable. But on closer look, they were just that “dissolved” that only some thin keratin cores remained.- While in my extreme case no “everything is totally cleared” results are achieved — the sebum at every level was reduced. With tiny bumps (kinda like milia but not) visible outright, only being as visible as before if skin is stretched/pressed. That alone is a miracle.I don’t believe this is the final solution. But if used multiple times a week - this may be the only product I currently know will be keeping the sebum from building up. And not only removing what’s on the very very very surface like all others.How is this combination of only extracts .. is able to do this? I can’t fathom. How it is not a golden standard in pore/oil control care? Why does someone like me go through $1000 of serums and cleansers with “dermatologist standards” like AHA/BHA etc before totally accidentally stumbling on a product that does something?I would if it’s really this good update after regular use tells me more.

I have known this product for the past 35 years, I used it when I was very young and, for multiple reasons, I was not able to find it or have it shipped overseas. Now, thanks to Amazon, I found it again. In an era where all formulas change, Lotion X remains the same high quality. I don't know if the formula has changed or improved, but it works WONDERFULLY . I have always suffered of what can be best described as a "strawberry" texture nose full of whiteheads that are endless to remove and which return quickly. A nightmare for me and any facialist (except, of course, the one who introduced me to Lotion X). For the last 20 years I have suffered tortuous extractions, until today. In less than 30 minutes, my nose is smoother than a billiard ball, not a whitehead in sight. No more red, swollen, irritated after extraction nose, ever. Please ship these products worldwide. I had to pay double shipping to get the one bottle I bought just to make sure the level of perfection remained the same, and it does.🤩🤩🤩🤩

The product was delivered without a lid. Since the pump was not locked, the contents can be leaked. This is my second day of using, I cannot feel dramatic effect. However, it seems like my nose has been soft.

I got a bottle, it has very faint labels. I could not read on the back one at all.The front one of falling off, is this real product? :(

This is the only product that I have found that works for Cystic Acne- even though it is not intended for that. I use a q-tip and spread it on breakouts before bedtime- in a couple of nights the breakout is clearOnly downside is the bottle design- it leaks in transit whether I order it from Amazon or from Christine Valmy. It is NOT the packaging- it's the container. It leaks on its side. Needs a redesign

This stuff is damn powerful. It works but you might also fry your face off if you think directions aren’t for you.

I can’t live without this. I use this once a week. My skin getting smoother than before.

I'm really liking this product. Skin feels clean and smooth after use.
