4K here we come
4K is the new standard for monitors. This one I got is much cheaper than it's mainstream equivalents. I was hesitant as the internet says you need at least a Nvidia 1070 to play nice. This monitor is definitely a safe bet. Even though it says it is 4K it is not really though as true 4K is 4096x2160. If you have never tried a 4K monitor prepared to be blown away. Windows 10 defaults the scaling to 150% but for me I had no problems reading text and icons at 100%. I have wallpapers of galaxies on my desktop and they were in 2K (previous Qnix 2710). I was looking at the sombrero galaxy and thought I had a smudge on my screen but then looked again and saw it was actually a new star with it's gas/cloud tail.Pros:1. 8294400 pixels on a 32" means 138 ppi.2. 1.07 billion colour gamut3. DP 60 hz4. Freesync5. Price6. Product was shipped on Dec 4 and I had it in my hands on Dec 5.7. Seriously deep black levels.8. Granular menu9.Video Ports: DP, HDMI and even VGA10. You can send the sound from Display port to your stereo receiver using Toslink11. OC @ 1080P to 120 Hz and 1440P to 90Hz12. 10 Bit panel (actualls 8+2 FRIC)13. Supports 4:4:4:4 Chorma PS4 is plug and playCons1. Remote is no longer included makes navigating the menu a little difficult until you get it down.2. Menu is in Korean by default3. Freesync range is set to 48-65 by default4. If you need warranty service you have to pay to ship this back to Korea.I wanted to speak about Freesync specifically. There is a little program called CRU that allows you to change the Freesync range. I was able to get 33 to 61. After enabling that I ran a benchmark for TW Warhammer 2 battle map and was disappointed that I was getting 26 FPS. It was choppy so I went into the settings and changed settings from Ultra to high and turning off AA. Re ran the benchmark and I was in the 50s buttery smooth. I then ran the AOS benchmark and again was in the 50s but so buttery smooth. The confirmation for me though was 3DMark. The Firestrike Ultra score came back at 10838 and Time Spy came back at 8082. This is why I am so hyped about freesync. I will list my equipment below to explain why.Specs:MB: AsRock X370 Killer SLICPU: AMD R7 1700 OC to 3.925GPU: Sapphire Rx 580 & 480 Nitro in xfire at 1375 MHZ and 1750 MHZRAM: Corsair DDR4 3200 MHZ @ 2933 MHZPSU: Corsair 850TX GoldBoot: Corsair Force MP500Data: Sandisk Ultra 2 960 GB x 2 in RAID 0I cannot recommend this monitor enough especially for AMD systems and as an extension of that the PS4 and Xbox1

Monitor has amazing quality, but with the refresh rate
Used since mid January and now it's August. Monitor has amazing quality, but with the refresh rate, you can pre-set all your games to turn off V-sync (30 frames)That being said, today my right back bulb that lights up the screen went out, so now half my screen is bright, the other is dark. Hoping that the warranty is still valid and they hold up their end of the bargain... 6 months and a bulb goes out.
