They arrived wrapped in cellophane. Since they are stones I ran them through the dishwasher, they came through that just fine. Next I put them in the freezer overnight. I put them to the ultimate test. I made a fresh glass of iced tea by pouring fresh hot tea over ice. I tested the temperature by drinking through a straw. The tea was luke warm. I dropped in five stones and tasted it after a few seconds. The tea was very cold by then. I drank it over the course of a couple hours and it stayed very cold the entire time. When I had finished my tea I took the stones out and they were still very cold. I rinsed them and stuck them back in the freezer for next time. So to make it short, They work! They keep drinks cold and don't dilute them. I purchased these chilling stones at a reduced price in exchange for trying them out and then writing and posting an honest, unbiased review of my experience with this product. I gave it five stars for making my tea really cold and not diluting it

They don't really seem to stay that cold very long. I keep them in my water bottle in the freezer. Water doesn't seem as cold as when I just use ice cubes!

Hello I would like to review this new item today it is the :Whiskey Chilling Stones -This is for the 9 pack optionIt is being sold by:Kitch N GadgetzI was looking online for something for my ex mother in law and I found this and thought that it fit what she has been looking for .She found something like these on a t.v. show late at night and they was saying how good they was and she looked everywhere for them . I saw them and swiped them up .They came in this little cute retail box that was easy to read and understand . Inside the easy to open package was these light grey stones in a square cut . A total of 9 of them . A little dusty but they are stone so ....We washed them well thenWe placed them in the freezer for one hour and placed them in a glass of water for testing and it did chill the water to a nice 48 * for a half hourNext we placed them in the freg. for one hour and placed them into a glass of water for testing and again it did chill the water but not as much or as long we expected this . The temp. went to 59 * for about a quarter of a hour .Overall I liked them they look like they would be at a higher price point than they are . They are cute , compact and well made no chips cracks ect. and they all looked like a set . It did not say how many to use at one time so we used all 9 during testing and they did not take up a lot of room or weigh down the glass .I feel as it would take multi sets for a small group so that should be noted .And I will be buying more for gifts for my Friends and Family .I would like to take a moment and say thank you for reading my review and I do hope that it has been of some help.I love to write online reviews in my spare time . Didn’t keep drink cold

Nothing is worst than when your ice melts and waters down your beverage! This happens to me way too often because I sit down to have a drink but get busy, and come back to a watered down drink. When I saw these I thought they would be the perfect solution to this problem and they were! When I received them, at first I was a little shocked about how small they were, but don't let that deceive you, they work great. You just put them in the freezer for a few hours and them pop them in your drink! And poof! A cold drink that doesn't get watered down!PROS:-Easy to use-Reusable, just wash, rinse, and reuse!-Does not have any odor or taste-Does not scratch your glass-Works well with whiskey-Affordable-Can be used in drink other than whiskey-No more ice watering down my beveragesCONS:-Much smaller than I expected but this did not effect how they workedThese are a great product to have for anyone who drinks whiskey or other beverages and is sick of their drinks becoming water down. These stones do not cool down a drink. Waste of money.

Used once, did not cool liquid like I'd like. Good set for decoration!
