I was sorry to read that some people got less than perfect lighters. I really like it. It's quite heavy. Substantial. And it's bigger and with a larger flame than I was expecting. Being all metal, I'm hoping the piezo ignition doesn't crap out. I am really impressed with this thing. I only just got it but for now it gets a five star rating from initial impressions from me.

Well built but watch out for the flame, if you turn the torch sideways the flame will become larger and if you turn it to high, well just don't do it in side, because it will start throwing little fire balls frontonmuch fuel being released, thenyou turn it up right and flame will die down drastically

I used to have a similar model which did not last, but it appears this may be a later design with several improvements. I've had zero issues with this one. Works perfectly every time. If it fails in 6 months to a year, whatever, it was $15.

So excited to get this torch till I opened it to be very poorly put together every assembly was loose and the fluid would continuously leak. Cool design just horrible craftsmanship. Same day returned.

Sturdily built. Works fantastic. Adjustable flame. No fill level indicator; not necessarily needed. Instructions included, but are micro-font. Intuitive operation. No lock-out feature. This is a big boy tool for my fireplace and may be overkill. But whatever. I would happily buy again.

Dropped it on a wood floor. Aprox 2 ft off the ground. It started leaking. Poor quality but it looks fabulous.

This is a nice torch with a fuel tank that holds more fuel than most other torches in this style
