TP-Link 802.3at/af Gigabit PoE Injector und DC-Versorgung (im Wohnmobil) über den XWST DCDC-Wandler 12 -> 48V 3A (darüber lassen sich bequem auch mehrere APs versorgen), sofort via DHCP (im Router sollte ein DHCP-Bereich definiert sein) im Netzwerk finden und über einen Browser unter der als "BELKIN" (nicht wie eigtl. zu erwarten LINKSYS) bezeichneten Geräteeinheit ansprechen. Standard-Name und -Passwort ist "admin". Man kann mit Klick auf TCP/IP festlegen, ob der AP sich via DHCP oder mit einer festen IP im Netzwerk anmelden soll. Das war's auch schon. Der LINKSYS Cloud-Dienst und eine entsprechende Registrierung ist für die AP-Funktion nicht erforderlich. Es werden lediglich Möglichkeiten der Anlage diverser Netzwerke, Zuordnung von Geräten zu jenen und statistische Funktionen zur Verfügung gestellt, die, im privaten Umfeld, eine nette Spielerei sind, in Unternehmens-Netzwerken jedoch eine definitiv sinnvolle Funktionalität darstellen. Der vierte und fünfte Stern wäre gegeben, WENN eine ordentliche Wandhalterung im Lieferumfang befindlich wäre. Selbst für den Einsatz an einer Gebäudewand (outdoor - wofür der AP ja explizit beworben wird) mit lediglich zwei Schraubenköpfen, auf die man den AP setzen soll, sehe ich diese Montageart bei Sturm als unzureichend an. Warum liefert man hier nicht eine solide Wandhalterung, auf die der AP einrastet und nur durch Drücken einer Entriegelung wieder abzunehmen ist?! Wer keinen Antennenmast hat, an dem der AP befestigt werden soll, dem nutzt auch die beigelegte Rohrschelle nichts! Hier ist deutliches Verbesserungspotenzial gegeben. Um sich selbst zu behelfen, bietet sich die Montage von zwei Alu-L-Profilen (30 x 30 x 2 mm) an, die rechts und links des AP-Gehäuses im geeigneten Abstand an die Montagefläche geschraubt werden. Dazwischen wird der AP gesetzt, der mittels je zweier, durch ein in die Profile geschnittenes M4-Gewinde, geschraubter M4-Madenschrauben an den beiden kleinen senkrechten Flächen des angegossenen "Rohr-Halters" festgezwungen wird.
