Zero Acidity.
Five stars for coffee and flavor, it's great coffee, no question, if you like a coffee that has zero acidity, no fruity flavor, just dark, nutty. Fantastic. It's been my go-to coffee since 2020 when my usual place wouldn't ship due to world events. But since December 2025 when it was $40 for 6 bags the price has now almost doubled to $72 for six 12-oz, not even a full lb, bags. So I guess it's time to find a new coffee.

Love this Coffee
I love dark roast coffee and had been buying a good local roast. A friend gifted me a bag of the Starbucks Sumatra beans and I was sold. It is exceptional and affordable when bought in bulk.

Very smooth taste
I’d heard a lot about this coffee from a friend and thought I would sample some. It’s a smooth tasting brew along the order of an espresso. I prefer a richer bolder brew with a lingering aftertaste that is missing for me in this Sumatra. In all it’s a good coffee just not quite what I was looking for. Taste is an individual preference. My friend loves it. You might love it as well.

Too Expensive and Deceptive Description
The description mislead me. When I went back to re-read it after receiving only one small bag of coffee for $78 AU ($51.70 US), instead of several bags, the item was no longer available at this time. I am positive I was supposed to receive more than one bag. Especially for this high price. So long Starbucks. Looking for a more reasonable and ethical alternative coffee.
