This is more than a sprayer, it actually mists.
I use this all the time for misting a light olive oil coating onto frying pans, cookie sheets, and on the surface of brussel sprouts (to hold salt and aid in cooking) before I cover them with parchment paper and place them in the oven. This product really produces a mist, so don't inhale right above it while spraying. The latter isn't a complaint, you just might want to be sure that you use it in a still room and only spray directly above the item you're spraying as the mist doesn't behave like droplets, it "settles."I've had no issues with dripping oil after use or oil circles under the bottle from leaks.I use mine exclusively with olive oil and have had no issues with plugging or fouling of the line carrying the liquid to the sprayer at the top.The plastic tube in the cover (that does the pumping) comes out occasionally but is easy to replace and goes right back to working very well. I think a vacuum might develop between uses that tugs on it when you raise the cover on the next use. So far, I'd say it hasn't been a problem and I want it to be removable for when I wish to clean the sprayer.Overall, I'm truly ecstatic with it's performance.10/25/2018 - Additional infoIt still mists fine. The plastic tube in the cap, that pumps up the oil container, kept coming out of the cap after a while. Then, I noticed that the cap was cracked. I have it rubber banded to prevent it from completely splitting and I just put the tube back in the cap when it comes out (plus I put a piece of plastic rap over where it fits in for a tighter fit). I suggest a design modification like a screw through the top of the tube through the cap, or an insert after the tube is in the cap (like a plastic disc) to prevent the tube from coming out. I didn't drop my mister (which I love) so I suspect the top of the cap also needs to be stronger.

Very Happy
I've tried them all, and this is the best I've found thus far. I haven't had it long, but so far it's working fine. Yes, I have to pump it up often, but hey--it works! Very fine aerosol spray. I think that if you were to fill it up less than the level of the fill line, it would probably spray longer due to having more room for compressed air. It's not a big deal for me--not enough to pour out some of the oil anyway. I'll find out as the level goes down whether I'm mistaken about my little hypothesis or not. Meantime, I love it!

Handy oil sprayer
A few pumps and it is ready to dispense a very fine mist of oil. So far, I've only used it with extra virgin olive oil and it hasn't clogged up.

I don't recommend
It's okay - maybe my expectations were too high, but there's hardly any oil come out of mine. It's a VERY fine mist... To the point that I need to pump at least 40-50 times to shoot enough oil to glaze surfaces. That being said, I'm still using it, but it would be hard for me to convince someone else about it's efficacy.Update: 8/25/17The cap has broken (in about 2 months of use), so you can't use it to pump the stem that pressurizes the chamber. Don't buy!

Nice little sprayer
I use it to spritz EVOO. It took a little getting used to because you need to create a vacuum in the container by pushing down on the cover. Very easy to do and works well. Does not clog.

Barely sprays at all
I'm going to give up and just throw it away. It's just a pain to use. Everytime I try to spray it, a teeny tiny bit leaks out of the sprayer. It NEVER sprays.

Working great so far
A really nice mister. Very sturdy. Great with olive oil, which is all I've used it for, for spraying hot air fryer french fries to make them crispy, and home made whole wheat pizza shells.
