Size did not fit as described
The website said it would fit a 2013 Prius but it did not and by the time I got around to the install it was too late to return it.

I love these.
We live in Florida and the sun is very hot. I have these shades in all my vehicles. Keeps the car cooler and lasts along time. Had my last one 11 years. Buy it, you'll like it.

Excellent shade, just pull it closed - no storage problems
This is my third Eclipse shade in 15 years. I'm in Phoenix, the solar radiation is brutal. The UV here eats paint, metal, wood, asphalt, skin. My shades have all gone past what I consider life expectancy and died because the monofilament line that retracts them has gotten old and brittle - just like my knee joints. I do not consider the monofilament failure after 5 years (nor my knee joint problems) to be a fault with the design of the shade. Here's a hint, you can snip off the bottom or top inch or so if needed. So if you measure and then buy one that turns out to be too tall, typically because your dash mat gets in the way, just cut an inch off with kitchen or paramedic scissors. The retraction feature is the best part. No more folding and unfolding the "liferaft" of a regular style shade. Just reach over and pull the two sides together. Good, strong, industrial strength velcro holds them together. I have NEVER had a failure of the adhesive on the retractor mounts. Clean the glass well with alcohol. press and burnish, leave for a few minutes, it sticks till you razor blade it off years later.

Replacement was necessary
The blinds themselves usually work fine. The mounting bracket system for the blinds is faulty. Our windshield had to be replaced and the old blinds would not stay fastened to the glass; even after special cleaning with alcohol and eventually using new heavy-industrial double-sided tape. Every time the blinds were closed and there was a major temperature change, the brackets would fall off the glass. With the blinds closed there is a fair amount of pull pressure against the brackets. The shades use a spring retract system. We really like the appearance and utility of the shade so ordered a new set for the new windshield. To ensure that they stay secure I used small "L" brackets fastened to the window side frames. Then the shade brackets were secured to the "L" brackets with double-stick tape and nylon ties. May be overkill, but they should stay on better this time.

May be more spendier than others, but worth it
Had the Eclipse Sun Shade installed years ago on another vehicle and it worked flawlessly. Sold vehicle along with it. Wanted to try cheaper sun shades, the ones that are a single fold instead of bi-fold. Well, cheaper they were. Rubber suction cups that did not work, metal clips falling off rubber stoppers due to hi temp heat making rubber pliable and soft causing failure, single shade being pulled all the way across windshield is more cumbersome. Bought new Eclipse Sun Shade and learned my lesson that cheaper does not mean better.

Love these Sun Shades
I’ve tried other ones in the past, this is by far the best. I have one in ever vehicle I own and they are the only ones my husband will actually use.

Your service and supply suck
I had a set in my truck for years and loved them but one finally broke so wanted to replace it with another. Months went by and no shades. Kept getting texts saying it would be the next month. I'm tired of waiting. Just lost yourselves a good customer as several people have asked me where I got them from. Now I just say don't bother the service sucks

Not Eclipse Brand
This is not the Eclipse brand nor is it the item in the images. Eclipse does not use suction cups, they use adhesive. Also Eclipse uses 2 pieces for the shade, they sent one piece that goes all the way across. In their stock photos clearly use the Eclipse shade, but this is not the same product as pictured. I wish I would have read the negative reviews before purchasing.
