Not impressed.
I've been waist training and tightlacing for about three years now. I saw a corset blogger (whose recommendations I trust) recommend Love of Corsets, so I picked up this overbust on sale. Well, the price point was the only upside of the garment.The busk does not take up the entire channel it's in, leaving room for it to warp, and on the corset I received, the busk's pins and loops don't even line up well. It's nearly impossible to fasten.Second, the lacing is very springy shoelace material that catches on the grommets and feels as if it's about to snap any minute. Third, the bones seem to have the same issue that the busk does - they're just not long enough for the channels. This worries me, as it's an indication that they have the potential to twist and kink. As a personal nitpicky note, the curve of the bust could stand to come up a bit higher. I planned to wear this as a top on its own but that just won't be possible unless I want to flash everyone the second I raise my arms. Demibust would be a better descriptor for this than overbust.Overall, probably a good corset for a costume or a one-off event, but this won't be seeing much wear from me - if I can ever even get it fastened, that is.EDIT: After managing to get it working, I inspected it a little more closely and found even more problems. The waist tape is incredibly uneven (skewed by at least a full inch on one side) , as are the grommets. The back steels are incredibly weak and bend very easily. I'm leaving it at two stars for now, but only because I did manage to get the busk functioning.

Best deal I've seen
Amazing quality for the price! I bought this during a sale for $15.00, which is simply unheard of for a genuine steel-boned corset. It is excellently constructed for the listed price. The front steel busk is slightly cumbersome, which is the only real issue I have with this product (it is hard to latch in places) but I am more than happy to overlook this for what I paid. This product is, in my opinion, superior to Timeless Trends and OrchardCorset simply because the curves are indeed extreme--for a beginner tightlacer or for someone who only wears this on special occasions. For more experienced wearers, this is not "extreme" but would absolutely suffice. The laces are nice and sturdy, the construction is durable, and the boning reaches closer to the edges than I expected (most reach all the way to the ends, some have quarter-inch gaps). Overall great product, and I would absolutely purchase from them again.
