We bought this jukebox for our upstairs bonus/billiards room. The jukebox is great fun to use and really adds the right flavor to the room. The sound is very good, not great, but very good and the speaker is more than loud enough to fill the room. We added the base as an after-purchase item and I strongly recommend that you get one, too. It adds the right amount of size/height to the jukebox and really makes it stand out. The jukebox seems much smaller without it. NOTE: if you order the base then be very, very careful during the unboxing. The drawer is not secured in the base (or the box) and it slid right out while we were unboxing the base, crashed into our hardwood floor and took appreciable damage to the top left corner. Good news - I contacted Arkrocket, told them what happened and we already have the replacement drawer that they shipped to us at no cost! They provided excellent customer service. As for the jukebox, the only way to get better is to spend a whole lot more money. Overall I'm quite happy with this purchase and pleased with how it accentuates our adult play space. NOTE: This jukebox has an SD memory card slot and a USB port. However, it cannot use any memory card greater than 32 GB. And the SD card and/or USB thumb drive must be formatted to the FAT32 standard. FAT32 is just a method for storing data on SD cards, USB drives, hard drives, etc. So, if you get an ERR when trying to play from either then check and make sure you're not exceeding 32GB and that the memory card is formatted correctly. Easy Google searches will tell you how properly format the SD card or USB drive.
