Courageous Virtue (Courageous Studies for Women)

My Bible Study is a group of moms, and we usually pick books that we don't have to study much with. We like to read a little and discuss together. This book is not like that. Each chapter is really short, which is nice, but it has lots of follow-up readings and questions to study. It's good, though, if you can take a few minutes each day to work on it, rather than assuming you'll be able to do a whole chapter in 30 minutes or less. And it does have "answers" in the back if you're not sure what you're supposed to get out of the readings.

We have a bible study of 6-10 ladies and we all LOVE this series. We've completed 2 books, working on the 3rd.The author's method is to select a topic and find supporting evidence throughout the Bible. Answers are in the back of the book, but you probably won't need them. You'll find the answers on your own. We love this series and hope there will be more when we are ready for them.

I really like the simplicity of this study. The writing is straight forward though kind. The advice is solid and Scriptural. I love that the saints are quoted too. This would be good for a beginners study group, or private use.My only critique is that I wish there was a little more room to write! Sometimes I have all the room I need, sometimes not.

Liked the how book was organized

My bible study has used Stacy Mitch Courageous series---Courageous Virtue is our third one---and we have enjoyed all of them. They promote much discussion and there have been lessons that took us 2 to 3 weeks to get through. Our group of women have been studying the scriptures for over 10 years. We have become very good friends over the years and have a strong personel and spiritual relationship. These Catholic studies have all been great.

Excellent scripture based bible study. I am really enjoying this bible study. The subject matter is relevant to today's lifestyle, the chapters are only a few pages long and the scripture passages are so spot on to the topic. I highly recommend this bible study. It is great to do while you are with a group or ahead of time to discuss or even alone. Enjoy!
