Great show
Actually better than I thought. The lead singer sounds like Teddy Pendergrass. If your a fan your will enjoy the 70βs sounds, recommend.

Pleasant for its nostalgic value
Because I have been a longtime fan of this group I decided to purchase this video, and did enjoy it for its nostalgic value. My memories of Teddy Pendergast as lead was, and is inspiring, though the group's current lead is very good too, and in keeping with the tradition of the groups 'sound'. However, the downside of the video is it reminded me of a home video version, taken by one of the group's family or friend; not so much in the quality of the sound (orchestra is great) or the voices (good too), but in the overall feel of the performance - the audience was limited (quantity) and could hardly be heard. Audience response to me is part of the concert experience, and should always be enhanced to be heard. The group seemed almost to be 'rehersing' rather than performing. I would only recommend this DVD to those fans that appreciate from where this group has come and still appreciate their nostalgic worth. I gave it a *** star at the most.

Not Harrold or Teddy
This group wasn't even close to the.originals. It was okay but disappointed in the voices of Sharon.

Letterboxed's black bars, top & bottom. Full-frame's bars, left & right. This is a FOUR-sided, black-bars, "*WINDOW-BOX*" Yuck!
I have m-a-n-y concert DVDs and BDs. Only, so-called, "bootleg dupes" have the video quality of these two filmed concerts.Amateur video. The cameraman was about as effective as your little gran'child with YOUR hand-held HD-cam-corder.I'm a big fan of Harold Melvin; his successor does not succeed. The SOUND was acceptable, but that PICTURE! This is a RE-issue of a 2007 [almost ten years old!] DVD, with ONE, gigantic,WART.I will write my last sentence---because this is NOT formatted for a widescreen TV---entirely, in CAPITAL letters:WHY IN THE YEAR 2016 IS THIS "*WINDOW-BOXED*"?

I MISS YOU
Harold Melvin's Bluenotes. Carrying on the tradition of the great man himself. These guys stay true to the game, sing all the great songs we know and love and they bring Miss Sharon Paige on to do a couple songs like 'Hope That We Can Be Together Soon.' The dance steps are there, vintage Bluenotes. And they could teach many of the younger generation what it means to entertain an audience. Great Show!

No Teddy
Wish this was the original band with Teddy Pendergrass - Good performance and the songs are classic R & B sound of Philly
