4stars, because I feel it's not quite as effective as their original formula that came in big blue bottle.For anyone suffering from bad cold sores I would strongly suggest giving it a try because it's the only thing that actually does anything to my cold sores... For sure better than abreva (they say to use at first sign of tingle, I tried and it did absolutely nothing or made it worse). Worst case scenario you're out $29, but best case scenario you might have something in your back pocket for your next outbreak.I'm not sure if it's as effective as it was when they sold it in the bigger bottle for like $75 as someone mentioned before. I lost my bottle so I bought the single application. It's been about 24 hours since first applying yesterday and it looks to be working similarly to their older formula, but it seems slightly more diluted and less effective so you need to thoroughly apply. I'd say hold the q-tip on the cold sore(s) for 10+ second per area. This stuff only really works once the cold sore blisters are open so that the liquid can come in contact with the open sore, but it will reduce healing time a ton. Reactive compared to preventative. For me once I feel a tingle there's almost no way to avoid full outbreak, so dynamiclear still best solution for me and I'll have to throw down another $29 for my next emergency outbreak...Main thing is it seems to dramatically reduce future blistering/weeping stage. Once I apply it I notice helps the blisters dry up more quickly and shortens the duration significantly -- I notice sores tend to start scabbing and begin healing within 24hours of application. Without this my healing time has been like 7days plus.To be honest I don't know of anything better out there. With this I can be just about fully healed 3-4 days from application. Without it looking at 7+ days.

Like a miracle! I've never heard of Dynamiclear before, but I felt a cold sore coming on and had the biggest meeting of my life coming up in a week so decided to give it a try, even though it was pretty expensive. So glad I did. I ordered it online and the product arrived the next day. My cold sore had already started, but I applied the Dynamiclear like it said and waited. It stopped the cold sore in it's tracks and it was gone well before my meeting!! I've never seen anything like it. Usually once I have a cold sore start it's there for the next 10-14 days. I will now never be without Dynamiclear so I can apply it as soon as I first feel it coming on. It works!!

It absolutely did not work for me. Reading the reviews made me think my problems were over and I wouldn't have to use Valacyclovir anymore. Well I was wrong! My order came just in time, because one day later I started getting a cold sore. Well I applied it immediately 2X the first day, thinking that by the time I woke up the next day I'd have some results. The cold sore was even worse the next day, but I did 2 more applications of the Dynamiclear hoping for a miracle. It's now the morning of the third day and I had to start using the Valacyclovir because I got no relief from the Dynamiclear. In fact the fever blister is now fully formed and painful! This was not cheap to purchase and it most definitely had no effect whatsoever in even slowing down the breakout. I saw that the other 3 reviews were positive ones, but I can't say the same for myself, and the experience was even more painful because of the cost of this product.

I didn't realize this was a one-time only application. Very expensive, but worth it if it worked -- which is sort of did. I applied it immediately upon feeling a fever blister tingle. It was very soothing --an unusual, but nice sensation. However, the fever blister appeared three days later.

Only product that works. I found it best to put it on before you go to bed so it doesn’t rub off while eating and drinking during the day.

Good stuff. If u use it first sign of cold sore it will work fast and go way in couple of days. Must use first sign of cold sore.

This stuff works...wish they still sold it in the big bottle for $75. Works on warts, cold sores and other virus related breakouts.
