They’re not so bright that they light up the room but they give a nice ambiance. I had them plugged in for about an hour and the plug was not warm at all. At 66 feet they were way longer than i needed but you can just bundle the roll at the end if you wish since they are so small. They come on a spool like fishing line. The lights start immediately from the plug. I can’t comment on the timer functions Can’t beat the price and the quality seems great. Delivery was next day as well. They give a warm yellow glow and connect to an outlet so no needing to worry about batteries.
