Product Description 60fps@1080p for the Smoothest Possible Video Quality Q1: Why does my framerate drop to 30fps or lower when I zoom in? A1: The zoom function only works at 1080p resolution and 30fps framerate. Please note: if you are using a video chat app (e.g. Zoom /Skype /Microsoft Teams /etc.), the software will automatically set the camera to a 30fps framerate and typically you will not be able to adjust this in the program. Q2: Why does my resolution drop to 1080p when running at 60fps, or while using the zoom function on the webcam? A2: This webcam is not able to maintain any combination of 2K resolution, 60fps, and/or the built-in zoom function. At 2K resolution, the frame rate will be set at 30fps and the built-in zoom function will not be able to be used. For 60fps the resolution will need to be set to 1080p and the built-in zoom function will not be able to be used. The built-in zoom is only usable at 1080p resolution and 30fps. Alternatively, you can use a program like OBS to create a virtual camera running at 60fps or at 2K resolution and use the ability to manipulate the image in their program to zoom the image in. Review: Great option for those in the market for a high-resolution webcam at an affordable price. - The Nexigo N9440P webcam is a great option for those in the market for a high-resolution webcam at an affordable price. I have been using the webcam for about 2 weeks mainly with a desktop computer running Windows 10 and a higher end gpu. I also tested this on a Dell 12in XPS running Windows 11. The installation process was straightforward and the inclusion of a tripod screw made it easy to mount the webcam on a tripod or Gorillapod. The USB cord provided was long enough to accommodate placing the webcam on a 32-inch monitor and it could easily be plugged into a machine on the floor. The software for the webcam was easy to find through a quick web search and was simple to install on both Windows 10 and 11. The user interface is clear and straightforward, and the ability to save presets was a nice added feature. The webcam performed well with the popular video conferencing platforms such as Google Meet, Teams, and Zoom, with the only issue being a slight cropping in Zoom that could be adjusted with the Nexigo software. The webcam supports resolutions up to 2K but I found that 1920x1080 at 60fps worked the smoothest. While the resolution goes up to 2560x1440, you only get 60fps at 1920x1090. The picture quality was pretty grainy, especially in the shadows, on both my desktop and laptop, but was still much better than the built-in camera on my Dell laptop. The mic on the Nexigo N9440P was clear and there was no background noise. However, it did sound tinny compared to a dedicated mic like the Yeti Blue, but again for the money it works totally fine. The auto-focus worked great and was able to quickly change focus when placing a printed image close to the lens. Some people may not like the security patch that you have to stick on, but I appreciated the option of not having it and it looked fine once it was on. I did have to re-do it as I had the sliding piece cover the in-use indicator light when it was open. In conclusion, the Nexigo N9440P webcam is a great option for those looking for an affordable webcam with higher resolutions. The installation process is easy, the software is simple to use, and it performs well with popular video conferencing platforms. The picture quality is not the best but still better than my laptop in-built camera and the mic is clear. The auto-focus is great, the security patch is a nice added feature. Overall, I would recommend this webcam as a good value for the price.

The Nexigo N9440P webcam is a great option for those in the market for a high-resolution webcam at an affordable price.
