Designed for over 60,000 hours continuous use under normal load conditions. Review: Fixed my broken HVAC UNIT - Easy swap out. Indicator light on circuit board was not functioning so I immediately knew it was the transformer. After a few voltage tests, I decided to order this. 5 min swap out and my unit works better than before. Review: Awesome quality, price and strength for diy - This transformer is heavier than you might expect. I'd say at least a lbs. That being said it's perfect for the heavy duty transformer that I need. It's weight comes from the great copper windings. This device is not cheaply made. I am using it to push 11 sprinkler valves at one time that run on 24vac and are 110ft away from this transformer. I am using a raspi pi and some relays to be as cheap as possible and have wireless controller where ever I am on the property. The pi has a 24vac to 5vdc transformer and I have no problems at all powering it, and all the valves. This device does not heat up as much as I expected, and I didn't need a star capacitor as the output is a super clean and strong sine wave. All valves open perfectly and strong for over 20 minutes without issue.
