I bought this board specifically to cut lemons/limes. It is an easily managed size for small tasks. The 8" Valencia Bamboo Cutting Board arrived quickly and well wrapped. I washed it by hand and towel dried it. The next day I rubbed food grade mineral oil into it and it is ready to go! The four stars are due to type of construction. It is made in layers. The cutting surface ls a compilation of rectangular bits. A small plank of bamboo was what I really thought it would be. On the plus side it will do the job, is made from a sustainable resource, and I didn't have to drive to the store to buy it!

In all honesty I have to return it but it’s still an excellent item for what it is. You can cut a Whole garlic and that’s about it Except for cutting a lemon or lime in half. I wanted a small cutting board but this is ridiculously tiny. I am not exaggerating about it to use. You can cut a piece of cheese but nothing larger than these items. There may be many items of this size so it could be his fault but don’t count on it for cutting anything else unless you don’t mind it falling from the board to get counter.

I misplaced the cutting board that came with my picnic tote. This fit perfectly into the tote. This would be too small for my kitchen use, but it is perfect for my picnic use.One star taken away because it was scuffed on first use. However, I'm pleased with this purchase and recommended it.

Attractive cutting board. Quite small. Good for my purpose (Montessori classroom). Would probably be good for cutting lemons/limes or to serve cheese on. Too small to use for real cooking.

Was hoping to find thicker 8x6 cutting boards and these looked perfect. Unfortunately the thickness is inaccurate. They are definitely not .75" thick...more like .50". These thin bamboo cutting boards are all the same. First they'll warp after a few washes and eventually they'll break. Since both the picture and measurements are misleading, I'd keep looking if you want boards that will last.Update: After one wash these boards are already warping. You can see that they're actually two thin layers of bamboo, which makes them even cheaper (see second pic). I would avoid buying these.

I thought the cutting board is big however that is my fault for not looking for the dimension. Overall, it is fine. Still can be used.

Cutting board is coming apart after only using a few times and hand washing. I noticed what looked like a small repair along the seam when I received the item. I should have paid closer attention and returned it immediately. I have a larger version of this brand that is still in excellent condition after using it for months but I purchased it locally. I would advise against purchasing this item on Amazon.

This is a nice compact size. I use it regularly when I don't want to haul out one of the bigger boards.It's very convenient for quick small jobs. It is not practical for large jobs and there are no claims made in that respect.I've had it several months and recommend it.
