It ships in a custom designed box that can be used to store your nativity between the seasons. 3 different size to choose from, Medium , Large, and Life size. This complete outdoor nativity set includes 11 more characters than our basic set. It includes the basic nativity set (manger, star, Mary/Joseph/baby and lamb) But this complete set also includes the donkey and angel, the wisemen with their camel, the standing shepherd set, and the 'A Child is Born' message. Medium: 45" tall Large: 62" tall Life Size: 94" tall No fasteners or screws are needed. The nativity is secured into place at 4 tie-down points with stakes hammered into your soil. 'MyNativity' is available in three sizes and all of them come with the beautiful 3 piece, penetrated star that allows lights to be put in or through it (as seen in some of my photos). I have been adding new characters to the set every year since 2008. (Not all of which are included in this set.) Best Christmas Purchase ever.
The product is as advertised. It appears sturdy, well made, and beautifully finished. I had a minor self inflicted shipping issue. Carolyn took care of it all without fuss or muss. The package arrived as promised and we are very anxious for December to arrive. Hopefully I will remember to post a photo or video and update my review.Update 1. It arrived and I took my time and read everything that came with the packages. I also viewed several assembly videos before I even took a single item out of the box.Tips and recommendation: The packages came with several plastic loops you need to screw on to the rear (depending on how you will place them) of each silhouette. You will need to purchase 1/4 inch dowels. I purchased 10 - 36" 1/4 inch dowels and cut them down to size as needed. To stand my silhouettes I put the dowels through the loops and drove them into the ground.As suggested by others using a pencil I outlined each silhouette on the cardboard "page" they came with. As suggested put the manger frame together on a table. The "puzzle" connection is so precise laying it flat on a table is the only way. Once I connected the two pieces the seam is almost invisible.Because we live near a large river the wind is a major issue. I used picture frame hanging wire to secure the manger.I am also using solar lighting to provide a warm glow at night.Taking time to prepare and getting to know the product made final assembly and set up a breeze.I am looking forward to using the Nativity Scene for many years. Beautiful nativity - worth the price!
This is a really wonderful and durable Nativity set! We need to figure out something besides stakes to secure ours to because the wind keeps knocking everything over. But we'll figure something out for next year. I also like that these show the basic outlines - no ethnic insinuation - because often times trying to find an ethnically accurate portrayal is very hard! (I don't mean my last statement to cause any drama. I'm just sayin'....)

great product, received it just in time to set ...
great product, received it just in time to set it up for Christmas, I did some revisions and drilled holes through each piece and fastened a small piece of pvc pipe to it in the back, then I cut some rebar and hammered those in the ground and slipped the pieces with the pvc over the rebar, we had strong winds just prior to Christmas eve and they stayed up without any problems

THE ONLY NATIVITY SET YOU WILL EVER NEED!
I love this set! Very easy to put together and despite wind and rain, stayed in place once placed on the lawn. Storage was a breeze, I was able to place the entire set back in the box for easy storage. Many of my neighbors had very kind compliments and asked where I had purchased! Loved the detail and will recommend as a must for the Christmas season.

definitely met my expectations. the storage boxes are great! Although, I suggest that you use a marker to outline what piece goes where, so when you try to put them away for next year, you'll know what to put where. These pieces are sturdy, but 1/2 inch wooden dowels aren't strong enough, you'll have to use thicker wood, or 1/2 inch rebar to support them.
