Great pads with lots of surface area. Easy to attach;1) Take off old pads2) Put new ones on the bike loosely3) Hold brake lever to close them on the rim4) Adjust one brake pad to where you want it on rim (with brake lever held), and tighen5) Repeat with other brake pad.

Decent basic v-brake pad. directional design, reminds me of the koolstops a bit. Not made of amazing material but they seem to stop well. For some reason the packaging says"disc brakes" on it but they are indeed v-brake pads. There also are not enough spacers on the brake pads for it to grab the v-brake arms. I had to add additional spacers to get them to grab. This is mainly due to the Allen head nut that comes with the pad, it maxes out before it grabs the brake arm.

Brakes work good. One slight flaw. The allen wrench nut is made with soft metal. If you tighten too much, it will strip. Plus the nut don't fit the treads very well. Fix those two problems and I will give it a 5 star.

Used these brakes to replace worn pads on my Trek. I've had them on almost a month and rode about 4 times on mountainous terrain. The trains in my area are steep and technical in many places. These brakes have done a great job in all conditions, even this weekend when I rode in absolute slop.They fit just like original pads. I'd definitely buy again or recommend.

Stopping power is very good.
