A bit pricey but wonderful minimalist keyboard
As a bit of a keyboard snob, I wanted to try this one out..first and foremost because it appeared as if VNV Nation had built a keyboard. I had read mixed reviews about Feenix's other products and the trend I noticed was the people who could put a sentence together seemed to like it. My immediate impression is that it's strikingly gorgeous and the backlighting is flawless. The white backlighting is a cool, piercing vibrance that's somehow enhanced by whatever method they used to make the keycaps. The keycaps are smooth to the touch and the click mechanism is wonderful. Other reviews made mention of the status indicator LEDs off to the right as being overly bright, but I don't think they're any more bright than the keys themselves, perhaps they aren't as diffused but they're by no means distracting. It does come with a usb cable, which itself is braded, gold plated and sturdy. I prefer unbraided cables because I think the braids just hold dirt better than flat plastic, but braided cables have become popular none the less. My only disappointment in this keyboard was that I was under the impression it at least had a metal frame but this thing - at least on the exterior - is all plastic. Let me add that the fact that it's plastic makes no difference in the case of the build quality here - it's incredibly sturdy, and I assume there's metal on the inside because it has some surprising weight to it. There's no doubt in my mind this is a firmly well made keyboard. I find it expensive, given the plastic exterior, single color lighting, and it's important to note this keyboard does NOT have those flippy feet in the back that let you adjust the slant of the board. While pricey, this board isn't without the perks of incredible built quality, beautiful albeit single color backlighting, and a neat feature where you can disable the 'Windows' key, which I didn't know about and was delighted to find. There are no drivers that I know of for this board, which is nice because it's maintaining a theme of simplicity. Finally, I should note the picture I posted is heavily filtered. I just couldn't get my camera to handle the white backlighting as anything other than purple, but it doesn't look purple at all in real life so -shrug- I mostly wanted to show off the backlighting's overall pinpoint precision and brightness.

The Autore's are easily my favorite
Umm...for the current price of $89 this is a no brainer. I'm not into the flashy keyboards anymore and I do consider myself to be somewhat of a keyboard snob. Under my belt I have a Model M, Corsair K70 Reds, Corsair K95 Reds, WASD Code Clears, Leopold FC200 Blues, Leopold FC200 Browns, Filco Majestouch 2 Ninja TKL Blues, Ducky Shine 3 TKL Browns, Das 4 Ultimate Blues, Cooler Master Stealth Browns, Feenix Autore 2017 Backlit Blues, Feenix Autore 2017 Backlit Browns. I know, I need to go to Keyboards Anonymous...The Autore's are easily my favorite. MOST of the other keyboards sans the Corsairs and Feenix's have beautiful PBT keycaps and as much as I love those, I still favor the Feenix keyboards above all else. Even though the keycaps do start to lose their "out of the box" beauty after a while. They develop a shine and eventually the silver paint does start to wear. That being said, they are incredibly durable, the white backlight is classy and the media keys are something I missed from the original Autore. My LIFE is with a keyboard in front of me. As a Linux Admin, I'm constantly banging away on the command line or writing scripts. Believe me, I put my boards through their paces. If you're even CONSIDERING this board, just do it. You'll quickly realize why the Autore is in a class of its own.

Very classy and premium
If you're looking for something to add a spot of class to your home office, you can't go wrong with this keyboard. It's nice, hefty, feels premium, and has authentic Cherry blues. Typing feels nice, the keys have a soft touch finish on them, and it's actually more gun-metal gray than black. The white LEDs are ultra bright and easy on the eyes while typing in the dark. Overall, simple, but well worth the price. Also, this keyboard was made in Taiwan.

RED switches, no backlight.
Not sure if it's worth returning, because it's still a great keyboard at an awesome price, but this has mx red switches and no backlight.

Pretty neat keyboard
Pretty neat keyboard. Keep in mind that its more grey then a black color due to the lighting in the pictures. They keys are very close to each other and might need some time to get used to.

Feels like a 20 dollar keyboard
Absolute garbage keyboard. The switches felt unstable and the keyboard frame didn’t sit flat on my desk. Can’t adjust the feet of the frame either so I didn’t have a way to make it sit correctly. Horrendous quality control. I’ll be telling my friends to stay away from this brand of keyboard. Very overpriced.

Good product, terrible customer service
Overall, this product is very good. Strong solid feel and and pleasant tactile clicksHowever I've had mine for 4 months and one of the LEDs has burned out on the keyboard. I've been following up with customer service, but they have not answered me and it has been over a month now.
