Bamboo Shredded Memory Foam Queen Pillow with Removable Bamboo Cover

Looks exactly like the picture describes it (as well as the pictures other users have posted). It is very important to wait the recommended time (and even a little extra) for the pillow to fluff up before you use it. I did notice a smell as soon as I pulled it out of the bag, but I just put a pillow cover over it and it wasn't so bad. It has only been a day that I've had it so it'll take a little longer for the smell to wear off, but the pillow is a good size and comfortable without feeling lumpy at all. This is a good pillow and pretty firm, although I was expecting it to be much firmer (as if the insides were more compacted). I like VERY firm pillows so that is the only thing keeping me from five stars, however I still like it and want to keep it. I'll update my review in a couple days to be sure that it remains as firm as it is now.To update-it has now been about a month to six weeks since I've had the pillow and as described by other users, it did flatten a bit. However because it is a pillow and that is what pillows do (memory foam or not), I was expecting as much. It has become a little firmer but still fluffs back up after I sit up. I would say it is now maybe 2/3 to 3/4 it's original height and there is NO hint of ANY lingering smell. In the beginning I did have an issue of the pillow flattening into more of a triangle shape where my head/neck was but now that it has compacted a little more and conformed more to how I use it, I would say I no longer really have that issue.Overall, I would still rate this pillow 4/5 stars for its comfort and firm-ness.

I REALLY wanted to like this pillow but I have to say, I'm struggling with it. First, I will say that the pillow seems to be of high quality and well made. The problems I am having with it are issues specific to me rather than it not being a good product. I have had it for about 6 months now and it certainly is NOT cooling! I am menopausal and have hot flashes. I have woke up in the middle of the night blazing hot and have had to move my head to the other side of the pillow! This pillow is also too high for my neck. I'm only 5'2" so maybe that's part of the problem but it retains it's shape once I have slept on it so occasionally, I have to flip it over so that the "lump" that has formed on the other side will support my neck somewhat but after a night or two, I'm back to trying to flip it over. If my head would sink into the pillow, it would help but maybe because it's too high for me, that doesn't happen. I don't know if opening it up and taking some of the stuffing out would help but not sure that I want to try that. So, off to another hunt for another pillow. :*(

I've had this pillow for about 4 months now and it is making a huge difference in my sleep.I have Central Sleep Apnea, several herniated discs in me central spine, rods in my cervical and lumbar spine and spinal stenosis. All that cause me pain and effect my sleep.Prior to getting this Bamboo pillow I would sleep at the most 2 hours, then be up wandering the house for an hour or more until I could go back to bed for another couple hours.Since getting the Bamboo pillow I can actually sleep six to 7 hours straight. I've actually slept 8.5 hours a couple times! The first night I slept through the night I was so happy the next morning when I woke up I couldn't stop smiling. I felt better than I had in years.The pillow is just as firm and looks just nice as it did the day it arrived.I would recommend this pillow to anyone with back or neck problems, who needs a firm pillow to keep their neck aligned or if you just want a good, high quality pillow.

As far as pillows go, most at a certain age do not consider this a big deal until you start to notice the effects of your sleep in different locations.I travel extensively at times and have had the pleasure to research various beds and pillows. I make it a point to write notes when I find the sleep better and more restful so this is why I bought this pillow. After staying in a Airbnb for a month I was hooked on this pillow and had to have one for my own bed at home. Besides the initial smell (takes about 2 weeks to go away) it was great right away!My son now is bugging me for one because I am always talking about how good this pillow it. I will get him one soon!Thank you!!

I have tried many pillows over the past 20 years, since I began using a c-pap mask at night. I tried pillows specifically designed for c-pap users and they did not work for me. When I ordered this pillow, I figured that for the very reasonable price, I had nothing to lose. My first impression was that the pillow seemed heavy and that it was over stuffed for my very short neck. Much to my delight, the pillow really conformed to me as a side sleeper and occasionally on my back. I have been using it less than one week, but I seem to relax into a deeper sleep and do not have to continually re-fluff or rearrange the pillow during the night. Perhaps this pillow will work for some people as well as it seems to work for me. I have no long term guess as to how long this pillow will stay fluffed and comfy for me, but the price makes it possible to replace it as needed. I would give it 5 stars right now.

This is my second bamboo shredded memory foam pillow from this seller! I absolutely love this product. I have seen other reviews saying its too full or too firm. I have Degenerative e Disc disease and this pillow cradles my neck and my head perfectly! It seems full at first but after a few minutes it will form to your head! As for being cool... The bamboo case is wonderful except for the zipper that can't be covered. I have tried regular pillowcases and they just don't breathe or stretch the way the bamboo case does. For me, the case seems to be critical to the comfort of this pillow. It is soft and allows the pillow move and form properly. A nice upgrade would be to find a way to enclose the case zipper. Anyway, I have a queen and a king. Both are nice size. I use the king as a body pillow. I definitely recommend it! 5 stars even with the zipper issue.
