Quality is okay. This DVD is hard to find. Enjoyed watching this movie again!

Fast shipping! Packaged great. Couldn't be more satisfied and my grandpa is too!Edit: My granpda took it home and it messed up and wouldn't play. Ordering another hopefully for better luck. With what was paid it is no biggie since it is a VHS that is pretty much expected.

Apparently this did not hit the mainstream entertainment market, I enjoyed it because I am into real estate and can appreciate it does not take much to get a home foreclosed.After talking to town folks finding out it was filmed part in San Jose downtown and Morgan Hill, I talked to the home owners who allowed them film and showed to senior center. Most enjoyed the setting if not Goldberg's sense of humor.

The DVD skipped a few times, however, it was a good film! I enjoyed seeing the first female to win at this game!

sorry to say I don't have enough of Whoopies movies on my shelves. saw this one years ago and wanted it then but could never find it. thankfully Amazon had it and now I have my own copy. is a very good movie, one I will wat6ch over and over. ty Amazon

This is not a Pool movie! It is a love-story set around Pool. As a player myself, the way the movie is portrayed is that the Pool is a major part of it. That said, there are few actual playing shots. But there is a reason for this.Whoopi Goldberg doesn't look like a good player. If you wanna look good, don't cue strangely, she looks like she is struggling in the clips of her actually playing, you never really get the impression that she really can play.Her love interest in the movie is a millionaire who plays because he loves it. He is portrayed as ruthless and skilled. Then he starts to "throw" the final match between them until she stops him, forcing him to play her best. Whoopi needs the money to pay off a loan, realistically you would not care if an opponent threw the game, it's winning that counts. The movie builds to the inevitable deciding rack, and then as she breaks off it's all over. I won't spoil the ending, but it is predictable.An average low-budget movie, that did not even appear on W Goldbergs biography channel profile show. One for the hardcore fan only.

Received in Excellent order and what a lovely film to watch, Whoopi Goldberg is brilliant and a good ball player. Well worth a watch

This is still new to me so haven't watched it over again, although first watch I felt good watching it.
