How to Build a Small Brewery Paperback – June 8, 2009

Easy to understand directions have me making beer all the time now.

I have collection of beer brewing books and this is definitely not going to add anything that is not covered in much more depth in the other books. At only 47 pages with half of that being illustrations, I read it cover to cover in half an hour. For someone that has no idea about brewing it can give you the basic jist of the process and equipment in simple straightforward way. To me this is something that you would get for free with your first kit from your homebrew shop - not pay for.

It's okay if you're learning how to be a homebrewer. If you're looking to start a brewery like I am, this is not the book for you.

Not only did I purchase this book, but I paid extra for quick delivery! If anyone out there is considering buying this book, be advised that it is all sizzle and no steak! How could the book be better? Maybe the author could send it out for free, prepaid? Nah, that's not nice! The author & publisher do deserve to earn something for this very thin dome, so maybe they could just put it on the web and charge a buck for a download.

I'd be willing to pay $5 for this book new. Almost 40 pages of content didn't add anything to my knowledge. I should have looked closer before purchasing. The best part of the book were the references to REAL books and magazines. I'll be giving this away to a friend who is thinking about a brew setup. Caveat Emptor.

This is a decent book that shows you how to construct a 10 gallon brewery. There are some basics of brewing covered.

This book is for the basic of the basic. It was written before homebrew shops had the selection they do now and is drastically outdated.Don'tWasteYourTime
