Hard to beat for the money
Bought this to replace points and condenser on my '87 chrysler 5th ave. Stock 318. It is a tight fit and you cant turn it to adjust but the distributor does work. You also cant use the vacuum advance which doesnt matter to me but as soon as you hook it up it starts drawing vacuum. Overall a good buy for a beater like i have

Replaced a broken MSD for this for 318
I was skeptical since this wasn't expensive but after months of use even through the cold winters here northeast. My 318 Had a MSD distributor that stopped working after a short. The MSD has no serviceable parts so when even bother. This Chevy HEI style is a smarter and actually reliable upgrade!

I said the product back but I was supposed to get another one sent to me because when I had purchase was defected I'm waiting for the distributor to come back how much longer will it be sent out todayI sure hope there's one being sent out because the truck is in the garage sitting waiting for the distributor thank you

Really tight fit
Great distributor fit was a little to tight I did my fitting a light sanding with out the o ring. Then put o ring back on. I will probably pull it back out and use the factory distributor seal the o ring is loose in groove and oil weeps. All and all still very happy

great idea a little lacking on quality control
i put this on my 1968 mopar 360 it a great upgrade to any mopar ignition only fault is oil finds it way up the shaft into distributor cap has not caused any issues yet but feel they are coming

Tight fit in the 87 New Yorker
This unit is a very tight fit. I like the fact that it is a common GM design. After installation the car started much better than with the old design ignition system.
