The Perfect Campfire Grill Extra Long Log Tweezers, Heavy Duty Fireplace Tongs, 40"

My friend and his wife have a large fire pit in their yard, and he was using barbeque tongs to tend the fire and burning the hair off his arms positioning the wood. I selected these because they folded up for easier storage. The tongs met with rave reviews and by all accounts work wonderfully without that burned hair smell wafting through the backyard.

Concept is great for fires but it is very flimsy and the grabbers on end have melted

Really like how long it is and heavy duty

Approximately hip height for man. Maybe three and a half feet in length. Good strong quality, feels like iron. However way too heavy. I could not use it. I cannot hold it out stretch without strain, any amount of weight at the end to move logs makes it unmanageable. Wanted this to work, good idea, too heavy to use functionally.

So we have had these tongs for a year of heavy camping. 19 total trips with many many fire. They held up great since the day we got them. The fold up design let's you store them practically everywhere. We just got a second camper and will definitely be purchasing to keep in each one. Once it becomes in budget. 10/10

Price is a little steep, but I needed these and they work great.

Bought for my fire-pit and backup for my fireplace. Nice a long for my backyard firepit which is rather large. These are a little too big for in the house but will suffice for backup there. I will update after I have used them a few times.
