We have a flagstone patio with thyme growing around the stones (and over the stones, and down the hill, and into the flower beds). When weeds poke up through the thyme, I can't spray them because I'd kill the thyme, too. This Weed Wand is perfect for dabbing at the weed and leaving the thyme alone.The Weed Wand is easy to load and use. My only problem with it is that the end cap falls off rather easily and the herbicide drips through the sponge and onto the plants that I don't want to kill.

THIS ITEM WAS DELAYED AT THE POST OFFICE UNTIL I WAS ABLE TO GO AND PAY THE POSTAGE DUE: $0.68. WHEN I LOADED THE TUBE WITH WEED KILLER THE MATERIAL DID NOT FLOOR TO THE END SPONGE AS EXPECTED. SO I BEGAN TAPPING THE SPONGE END TO TRY TO GET THE LIQUID TO FEED INTO THE SPONGE. THE TAPPING CAUSED THE ENTIRE SPONGE ASSEMBLY TO FALL OUT AND BEHIND IT A FLOOD OF WEED KILLER. AFTER REASSEMBLING THE SPONGE END IT DID BEGIN TO RELEASE THE LIQUID. THE NEXT SUPRISE CAME WHEN I WENT TO STORE THE WAND. YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO TURN IT ON ITS TOP OR FILLER END TO SOTRE IT SINCE IT WILL LEAK OUT THE BOTTOM IF IT IS STORED ON THE SPONGE END. PROBLEM WAS IT BEGAN TO LEAK OUT THE FILLER END. WHEN I ATTEMPTED TO TIGHTEN THE CAP I DISCOVERED THE PLASTIC THREADS WERE RIPPED. STOPPING THE LEAK WAS NOT POSSIBLE. SO IT HAS TO BE MEPTIED BEFORE IT CAN BE STORED.

I rate this a 4 only because I have not used it long enough to go 5 star. Very simple, very matter of fact. Fill the tube with weed killer, touch the weed and that's it. I think it's going to be great. I ordered from Amazon and received in 3 days.. I recommend the product. Happy Happy,,

The Weed Wand does the job designed for. The rating is given for the poor quality on the bottom. The design is all right but I feel the quality for the price is rather poor. I would recommend this item to a friend Four and one half stars.

I had purchased a similar product a couple of years ago, and it was useless. It fell apart the third time I used it. I have been using this Weed Wand Magic for a number of months now. It is easy to use and does an excellent job of getting the weed killer on the weed and not the lawn. It is still in very good condition and is going last a long time. I would recommend it to anyone.

I saw someone use this weed wand on hard to kill weeds. Regular spraying and weed killer didn't do the trick on this orchard grass. I bought this wand and went around killing all those weeds. Just place over the weed and push down to release the liquid weed killer. Lawn looks terrible but all the orchard grass is gone...............Yeah. Did that at the end of last season and I have good grass growing in those spots now!

The Weed Wand seems to work well, haven't used it very much since we got it so late in the season for our northern area.

Seems to work well on horizontal weeds but not so much on vertical ones. I haven't had any leakage problems. I think it is a bit over priced for what you get.
