Great Product
I have Just recently installed this product and could not be happier, Very easy simple installation and simple easy to follow booklet, Spring has been great to deal with during the purchase very happy customer, Is very heavy need a couple of people to mount it, I really like that it has power plugs on the actual inverter itself, Unit comes pre-set so no need to manually enter information into the inverter like the older style I have had previously

Later in good condition. Found orange color nice
Ordered unit, was contacted by seller, told unit is now orange and asked what specs I needed for 50/60 hz 120/230v. (I had hoped it to be field adjustable, found later hz are Voltage is not). Received it approx 1 mo. Later in good condition. Found orange color nice, paint was baked on metal cover. Nice looking unit. Heavy, solid feel. Breakers on unit of high quality. Inverter works great, I have loaded it up with washer/dryer, vacuum and my kurig. No issues so far, much quieter than a friends Magnum inverter. Hooked up generator, charger works well, adjustable charge rate 0-100%. Hooked up 4 solar panels (940w of 1440w possible). MPPT function works well. Transfer time between line and inverter is good, my electronics dont turn off or notice switch over.Manual is GOOD, I was worried it would be broken English.ConsUnit draws 60w idle, living in Alaska sun is scarce in the winter (down to about 4 hrs per day just over the horizon) and I need to conserve all I can.Batt saver mode works but I dont like it clicking on/off ever 3 sec. And if you are just using alittle power for lights you are still burning up an extra 60w. I will be getting a 24v 1000w inverter for the small things. Unit came with remote switch but no temp sensor.Display doesnt tell much, batt voltage, line v, inverter v, % of load. Some idiot lights on front. Overall Im very pleased.Update- I've raised my review from 4 to 5 stars. I've been using for about 1.5 yrs now and it's still working great. The only issue I've had is the idle draw of 60w but for the 1500.00 I saved over the equivalent inverter I could buy many more panels and this unit comes with the MPPT solar charger and auto gen start included saving much more money. I highly recommend this unit on or off grid.

I have held up the review till I had experience ...
I have held up the review till I had experience with it. It works as advertised! As far as I know its the only combination of inverter, solar charger, and load switcher that I can see. The manufacturer is in China so it takes a while to get as they ship from there to your location. When I informed GT Sun that it was holding up my solar project they expedited the delivery! This device is HEAVY! and the container is stout so the delivery guy wont be your friend.

An all-in-one Solar solution worthy of acclaim but not for off-grid Solar applications
I spent nearly 6 months researching options to support my off-grid RV set-up. (6, 250W PV Array, 500AH- 24V AGM battery bank). While I do have access to a generator, I do not plan on using it much, so I will have no AC feeds into this unit. I plan on depending on Solar exclusively for charging my battery bank and for feeding this Inverter. Here are the categories that are important to me in random order:Price - This combination unit is VERY unique in its capabilities. For the price of a low-end Pure Sinewave Inverter @ 300W, you get the Inverter AND an MPPT Charge Controller integrated into a nice, neat package. I looked at Outback and Magnum pre-wired systems to accomplish the same, but they were 3 or 4X the price and took-up tons more valuable real estate in my RV . 5 StarsEase of installation - I can't imagine a more simple install due to the internal integration of the functions of Inverter, MPPT Charge Controller and Protection. I was finished with the actual cabling over a weekend. This included Solar panels into a Combiner Box and run back to the MPPT Port (DC-in), 4, 12V, 250AH, AGM batteries in Parallel/Series to get to 24V @ 500AH, AC connection and Battery cut-off, Shunts and 2 DC Meters (more on that later) and PV Cut-off switch for isolation and maintenance. This was SO simple! 5-StarsEase of use - Not a strength for this application in my opinion. Since I am not using the AC charging function, the charging display and many of the advanced features are not used. The LCD panel does give me some useful information, but I really wanted to see much more detail about what what happening between the Solar Panels and the battery and between Battery and Inverter to know if I was consuming more than producing with my Solar Panels. While the unit itself does not help much in this area with my particular configuration, I was able to install 2, DC meters (one on the PV cables in and the other on the battery cables) to give me a real-time read-out of what was coming in and what was being consumed or used for charging). The manual is very vague when it comes to the Solar MPPT functionality and I've had to ask several questions as I am figuring things out. It is WAY too early for me to really know how this charger is performing, but I will follow-up in a few months with an update 3-StarsShipping - plan on 3-4 weeks as this is coming in from China. The Customer Service rep is VERY good and she will be following up with an email to get the details needed for them to configure before shipping. Well done in this area. 4-StarsCustomer Service - Q&A has been entirely on-line and this has been satisfactory to-date for me. I have no idea how I will get this serviced should it need repairs, but I would imagine that it will require weeks and expensive shipping. Otherwise, I am very pleased 4-StarsFit and finish - Solid, well built unit. I have stressed the Transformer with RV Air Conditioner and a hair dryer bringing the load up to very near 3000W. It protested slightly and the fans kicked-in, but I ran them both for 20 min without issue. I also tinkered with cutting out the Batteries and running on PV-directly. This was interesting, but only practical on sub-1500W loads in good sunlight.Durability - Yet to be determined. Of course, this is a concern for me, but my application is not full-time and not critical. I could afford to take a chance on an off-shore unknown to cut my teeth on. I do plan on building a couple of cabins and I will most definitely leverage this solution if it holds-up well in my RV set-up. I don't expect my Cabin power-needs to be too much different overall.Consensus... With a couple of minor refinements, this could be a giant-killer (Schneider, Magnum, Outback, Victron, etc...) in this space. It's ease of installation will certainly appeal to DIY novices like myself and if it's performance holds and the manufacturers get it marketed, this could potentially disrupt the market by demystifying the DIY Solar Energy implementation process. Well done...*UPDATE - 6 MONTHS INthis unit is primarily designed for AC/shore-power charging. All of the indicators and features are designed for the function. The MPPT Solar charger is clearly an afterthought or at best, secondary. If you are purchasing this unit intending for it to satisfy your off-grid charging and Inverter needs, you will be left wanting much more. The actual charging performance is below average and there is absolutely no statistics or monitoring capabilities. I wound up buying a Victron Charge Controller and kept this unit for the Inverter and Generator charging functions only.
