Good size and weight, and the tapered shape makes it maneuverable. I just used it for lots of Thanksgiving pies. I agree that the surface is a bit rough, but I don't think it's a problem as it enables it to hold a bit of flour for rolling. Cute storage case.

It's a good pin. It did it's job. I had hoped for a tiny bit smoother surface, but it is fine as it is, especially for the price. I really appreciate the drawstring bag, it's nice to be able to hang it on my pot rack.

I bought this for my college age son who is just learning to cook and has discovered he loves baking. It's a beautiful rolling pin, almost a work of art. And, so far, it has held up to 18 months of hard use by college kids. All in all, a great purchase.

This is an awesome tool for rolling out dough. I can't believe that I used a regular rolling pin for so long when this one has such better control, width and feel. Definitely should be in every kitchen.

Looks good so far. I like the cloth bag it came in. I have used it and it rolled out my cookie dough great. It was the perfect size and weight. Easy to clean and no flaws.

I'm sure these will be perfect for what I bought them for. Seem sturdy.
