Magdalena Mountain Paperback – Import, 21 August 2018

I was referred to this book by 2 biologist ecologist friends who had enjoyed itthoroughly. It is a good read which holds your interest and is hard to put down. That being said the beautifully descriptive writing does get distracting and tedious at times. One doesn't know if you're reading it for the poetry or the description. The language almost makes you forget what you're reading about. However I have it a 5 for both its suspenseful plot and writing.

I do enjoy the Author's other works, but something's missing in this novel. I think my major complaint is simply too many characters to keep track of inside of maybe a plot that doesn't keep the reader interested or misses weaving all the characters together. Made it through the whole book, but lost interest 75 percent into it.

this book was a gift to a naturalist friend.I read parts before giving it to him and found it rather good.He raves ,although he will say Magdalena Mountain is not for every one. Then again he seldom reads fiction.

The story was fascinating
