He's a serious kid and loved these–they were a great stocking stuffer. They are a bit smaller than I would have guessed (about 3" tall) and they didn't come in a box, but a plastic bag (see pic) which lacked a bit in the presentation department. But they are great and educational. In fact, I learned on Xmas morning – ulcers are caused by bacteria and that the scientist who discovered this fact gave himself an ulcer to prove his point. I guess these are the miniature versions of the "Giant Microbes", only about 3 inches long compared to the much larger and higher quality version which are closer to 6 inches. Since the item descriptions are vague it's impossible to know what you're ordering. What's more, I did order a different set of these and they were the size and quality I was expecting AND the same price! (for 4x Microbes). Except I didn't get 4, I only received 3. One was missing from the package...but don't worry, someones' pink Samsung S10 phone case ended up in my package somehow. So I guess I got that going for me... Coli to the lettuce on a plush taco and mailed it to a friend for Christmas. I have another friend food poisoning while we went out for lunch. I made sure each one was gifted to somebody special.
