HOWEVER, if you're looking to RESTORE fogged or sun-damaged headlight lenses back to their original transparent condition, this (as well as the others I mentioned) WILL NOT accomplish that nor anywhere close; you'll likely need a product that requires the use of, and includes, sandpaper of varying grit plus a wipe on luster and UV protectant. This IS a good product to have around, just not for any serious "restoration" of plastics to their original shine. It will however clean and condition the plastic making scratches much less visible. Novus 2 and Novus 3 are the scratch removal products. If the lenses you are referring to are for eyeglasses, do not use Novus 2 or Novus 3, there are usually special coatings on eyeglasses for UV protection and polarization, and the abrasives in 2 and 3 will probably remove them. **Q: I accidentally swiped the plastic/acrylic with 120 sandpaper when I was sanding a wood picture frame.
