Bought this to use in an interior approximate 400 square foot closet. It blows air around but I do not notice that it refreshes or cleans the air. We carefully reviewed the rather inadequate instructions and I think assembled it correctly. I don't know. I am not impressed.

Noticeable difference in air quality!
I have had this for almost 4 months. Its placed upright on my nightstand and set on "swift" while i sleep for the "white noise". I no longer wake up with that dull sinus headache that I've had for years. And, when I'm home all day I don't get the full blown sinus headache. It does remove offensive odors especially from neighbors smoking/cooking. I love the style, its not noticeable and can be laid down on its side if one chooses. There are no bells and whistles and you really don't need all that for a product that should be left alone to do its work. It has 3 settings (soft, std, swift). The filter is easy to clean. Replacement cost is reasonable.
