Extremely funny comics for unoffendable adults
When Hanselmann slows down and spends time on a drawing, his cartooning is excellent, but too often in this book the drawing feels rushed and unimaginative, and the staging in many panels, and in particular, many of the panel to panel transitions are simply awful. I can't tell if this is on purpose - it does somewhat fit the slacker humor of the comics - or just that the artist is focused on finishing lots of pages, more than finishing pages that are impressive to look at. But maybe the main problem with this collection's artwork is the book's format - which is much too small, and makes some of the pages (which were obviously drawn with much bigger formats in mind) uncomfortable to read. The handful of pages that were drawn and lettered appropriately for this size book, are such a relief on the eyes and feels so much better to read, it makes one desperately wonder why the book wasn't either printed at least a few inches larger to better support the artwork and lettering, or the comics themselves weren't reformatted to be more readable on these smaller sized pages.Despite those issues though, what makes this book great, is that the stories are extremely funny - some of the funniest "adult" comics I've read. Sometimes even just the simply drawn character's expressions could really crack me up. In fact, the character design throughout the comics is excellent. These are the stories of three stoner outcasts stuck on a couch taken to the most extreme levels possible. And while the set-ups seem limited - character's get high and are mean to each other and hate each other and hate themselves is basically all that happens across the many short stories in this collection - it's a humor that somehow never gets stale even after 160 very similar pages. It's a bit of a mystery why Simon Hanselmann's comics are so much more enjoyable than most other new comics I come across these days, and I do highly recommend them for those who are unoffendable.

Better than expected
This is my first Megg and Mogg collection and I am not disappointed. Each page is exceptionally well done, the cover art is gorgeous, there's so much to read and look at, the selection of content is great and I just really couldn't be happier. After this purchase, I look forward to collecting the rest of the Megg and Mogg collection. If you're a fan of this comic from online, treat yourself and support the artist, you won't regret it.

Owl in Amsterdam!
If you like Megahex then stop reading this review and purchase this book. This is just as good, just as disturbing and wonderfully illustrated. For those that have not read any of Simon Hanselmann's adventures of Meg, Mogg, Owl and WWJ then maybe head over to Vice and check out the weekly comic he posts there. If drugs, depression, humanoid animals, sex or weird situations offend you then you might want to avoid this, for the rest of us, dive in. Meg, Mogg & Owl go on quite a few adventures here, the biggest being their trip to Amsterdam, some stories are a single page, others are 10 and Amsterdam is about a 1/3 of the book. The humor is still here and the real life problems are just as present as they were in Megahex. I won't spoil anything here but it's just as funny, depressing and outright surprising as the last collection. Highly recommended.

A drug filled comic drama.
Overall a pretty good book. As good as the last one, but I was hoping for more. Not bad by all means! Simon is a great artist, and his tales of drugged escapades, depression, and lover's quarrel is out of this world. His books are a drug in their self really.

10/10
This is a tremendous book, one of the finest ongoing narratives out there, and absolutely beautiful to look at and a rollercoaster to read.

Another great Megg & Mogg
Oddly this one is darker than any of the previous books but I still liked it for all of the reasons you have to love this series.

Owl!
It's absolutely amazing how Hanselmann handles all the unique characters he's created. If you're buying this book because you bought the first, you're in for some very strange surprises!Let's hope the wait isn't too long til we see another book :)

So ridiculous. These characters and the situations they get into are hilarious. Love this series, it has everything from existential dread to gross out laughs. Highly recommend for anyone into weird, unique comics.

AMAZING
One of the best comic book series I’ve read in a while. You can read it by itself or as a continuation of Megahex. It’s funny, irreverent, raw and incredibly dark. One of my favorites!
