Perfect, does the job, and does it well!
Just put this together and it came out fantastic and was just what I was looking for. It is certainly not a box "spring" but a foundation instead. We used it to raise up the mattress 8". We have a Tuft & Needle mattress. There is no creaking, etc. It feels very strong once put together. Putting it together was easy and pretty self-explanatory. If you want to speed things up, use a socket wrench with a 1/2" socket and a drill. You'll do it in 30% of the time.I opted for this foundation over another one listed on Amazon because the slats are closer together and provide more support to the mattress.

Instant Foundation for Memory Foam Mattresses
The instant foundation provides the proper support for memory foam mattresses. The instant foundation is not really a box spring type support though so perhaps the seller should change how it is advertised. There is not a spring in it at all, but it does work nicely when used to support a memory foam mattress. In fact not having any springs will probably extend the life because under most conditions one would probably would never break the ruggedly built wood frame that comprises the instant foundation. It has 1x3 boards laid across the top of 3 supporting beams made of 2X3 lumber and braced very adequately so I cannot fathom this thing breaking but as the old saying goes, never say never. the 1 x 3 boards are spaced about 2 inches apart to support a memory foam mattress and it does that job well. It has to be assembled which took about 30 minutes and has a fabric overlay to protect the fabric on the mattress from snagging on the wood support system.

Looks like picture except for the mislead on the cover
Arrives pretty much as expected...need to assemble. It looks like it will do the job but I am not impressed with the cover which only goes around the top and sides, draw string closure around bottom edge...leaving the bottom side a possible future haven for webs and such. Would prefer that the cover encased the frame on ALL sides.

Simple construction
Yo, listen up, here's the story... (and now that Eiffel65's "Da Ba Dee" is in your head...)Shipped disassembled, this foundation includes all the materials (and hardware) needed to build a solid foundation for a memory foam mattress. The box is labelled as "team lift" though its weight can be easily handled by a single individual. It's long - 76" - and may not fit in many sedans with single folding rear seats for post-delivery transportation. The wooden pieces are a white softwood and ship bound with plastic wrap. While the wood appears rough in any angled areas, the faces are smooth and easy to grip. Consider gloves if Murphy's law is your nemesis.Once removed from the box and unwrapped, the pieces fit together well during the dry-fit stage. Unsure if additional hardware would be needed, I'd obtained both a drill and additional wood screws. Fortunately, Lifetime Sleep included a full set of 31 (yep, that's an extra!) wood screws for slat installation and 13 (that's another extra) carriage bolts with nuts for full assembly. The company also included a flat-stamped 1/2" "wrench" for washer tightening; I would recommend ignoring it and using a 1/2" socket or similarly-sized wrench (adjustable or crescent - your call) instead for better torque application. The frame is well-constructed; another reviewer has specified the wood dimensions and it appears sturdy. To bring the price down, Lifetime Sleep Products used staples as fasteners between the framing pieces rather than screws. No play or wiggle noted during assembly and manipulation; just a note on the construction. The carriage bolts are attached through pre-drilled holes in the frame - and there is a center support labelled "This side up" to ensure that the slats will mount flush. Twelve bolts were positioned and tightened in mere minutes. The slats are then laid into slots formed by the frame. Each slat has approximately 3/8" of extra space when laid on the frame; they do not sit tightly until secured. Of the 10 slats provided, two were visibly warped along their longitudinal axis. I had no trouble securing them to the frame with the provided woodscrews during assembly. All slats had pre-existing pilot holes in place at each end and in the center. The provided slip cover fits well though it leaves the bottom of the foundation exposed. The cover is secured with paracord pulled through a rectangular cordlock with plenty of excess available to tie a stopper knot to prevent slipping.Once assembled, the foundation showed no flex or play when lifted and moved onto the bed frame. For those of you considering a bedskirt, the foundation adds 7 3/4" (19.7 cm) in height.Due to its recent arrival, I cannot yet attest to its reliability or durability. However, it shows promise.

Fits perfectly and was easy to assemble
Purchased for use with a queen size Tuft & Needle mattress. Fits perfectly and was easy to assemble. Beware of splinters. You will need a phillips screwdriver to attach slats. Very quiet, no creaking and I don't foresee it making any noise in the future...pretty solid.

Box spring
Ordered for king size guest bed in Florida home. Guests were very satisfied with comfort of bed. Be aware that you have to actually assemble the wood pieces and then put a cover with a draw string over it. We laid it out in our foyer and luckily all the pieces were intact. Took a little while for my husband and myself to assemble (we are 60+),

Perfect for a home without easy access
I didn't realize this product was not your typical box spring. You have to put it together which was not hard and it's made of wooden planks. It does the job and would be perfect for a home that does not have easy access for large items. It seems to work well and does the job.

High quality and worth the investment
My husband put this together and usually is very disappointed with products such as these. However, he was impressed with how well it was made, and that they gave EXTRA screws, etc. It went together very smoothly and quickly.
