where does the power source come from without batteries?

These are 230V mains powered lights. They are wired into the main lighting circuit. They give off superb light I used 2 in a 20sqm garage which illuminated the area beautfully.

Is it dimmable? Previous answer not helpful

No, not designed to be dimmed. Its super bright for the likes of a garage, utility room, any where that has dark corners. It works a treat.
