Our vet believed one area was an interdigital cyst, but this was happening between other toes, too. After a round of antibiotic, everything looked good again. Then it started coming back.I read the reviews here about CSR Chlorhexidine Solution after getting a recommendation from another dog owner, and, because of those reviews (and the low cost) I ordered a gallon. I diluted in a small spray bottle as directed and then started spraying between my dog's toes twice a day. After just one day, I could see a difference ... redness was fading. After about three days, everything was back to normal.Now I spray at the first sign of redness. I am convinced that whatever this is (fungal/yeast/bacteria), the CSR Chlorhexidine Solution is wiping it out or at least keeping it at bay. So far, there has not been a repeat of the nastiness.A gallon will last me a very long time ... and for this price, you can't beat it. In the reviews, there are other uses but I haven't tried it for mouthwash, dog shampoo, etc.Be sure to read the warning and keep away from eyes and ears! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ GERM KILLER FOR THE WASH *by A***N on Reviewed in the United States on July 27, 2017* PUT IT IN THE WASHING MACHINE with your dirtiest laundry, bleaching loads, post illness bedding.IT KILLS EVERYTHING. don't toss that moldy smelling wet towel you left in the hamper- I sleep with cats and use this on my bedding and anything needing a goodSanitizing ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Comparable to Hibiclens *by D***S on Reviewed in the United States on July 17, 2011* I hate to admit it because of the price differences and the percentage of the active ingredient (Chlorhexidine Glutonate), but for me this is just as effective as Hibiclens and I have tried both and have used both daily as a body cleanser (human) & bug bite soother. Hibiclens is much more expensive, is thicker has 4% of the active ingredient and I would use this alone (producing a lather) in the shower after first washing with regular soap.This CSR is 2% Chlorhxidine & does not lather. I produce a lather with regular soap then add the CSR to that lather, apply, wait a min or so then rinse & repeat. Sometimes I'll use it alone on a wet cloth in odor prone areas after I have bathed then towel dry.I love Chlorhexidine (CSR or Hibiclens) because nothing works better on odor especially foot odor. I have a son going through puberty and this has been a life saver. Often I felt my showers "didn't take" in the words of George Castanza, until I found this product. :( Even drying off following a shower, sometimes I felt funk brewing on my clean towel, and by noon forget about it smh... This, coupled with a great anti-persperant where needed and I'm a whole new person!
