I didn't use all of the set because my layout is not big enough. It works on straight and curved track. One trick I discovered is to slightly bend the metal tabs that hold the track to the trestle. It helps to hold the track a little better. Also works with curved rails. But it's originally designed for straight tracks. For that its extremely long.
