FlymoFLY017 Spacer Washers x 2 to suit various Hover Lawnmowers

Contrary to what is clearly stated on the box, these spacers do NOT fit a 1 year old Easi Glide 300 ... well not unless you want to drill out the holes to 3/8" and accept the slight loose fit of the pins into the original (grey) spacers. If you try this watch out because the drill will likely grab badly. I worked my way up in stages from 11/32".Shame on you Flymo - absolutely ridiculous to change your spacer design and not sell the latest (??) items as spares.

Clearly states in description that these spacers fit the EasiGlide 330, (amongst others), but it doesn't... exactly at least. Yes it will fit into the blade as a starter, but it doesn't marry up to the spacers provided with the mower. That said, even though it fits the blade, it is a lose fit and so would wear the plastic down quickly with the work it has to do. Off to the local DIY store with one from the mower to check that it fits tomorrow, now. (Thought I'd got away with that).

I only gave the cable three stars fo ease of instalation as I was fitting it into a machine it wasn't designed for. However it only took a little jigery pokey to get the job done. The cable has many sharp cutting edges and goes through grass like a hot knivevthrough butter. I did use it on a small price of garden that had overgrown with nettles poppies brambles etc. Again the cable totally out performed the normal cylindrical type standard cable. A very good addition to the garden equipment.

I needed new spacers because old ones on a flymo id been given has perished.Unfortunately whilst the spacers were fine, the mower packed up completely not long after changing them. Not the spacers fault I might add.

What can you say about spacers? The package arrived promptly, they were easy to fit, and now instead of simply nodding to the grass as it pases over it, the mower is giving it a decent cut.
