Zoo Med Hermit Crab Mineral Blocks

My hermit crabs loved this, but they're too lazy to walk up and eat it. I have to pick them up and put them on it, but then they do munch.

My hermit crabs love to use these mineral blocks. You'll see the shavings on the sides of the blocks from the hermits so I place them all in the tank. They last a long time too, don't smell, have a decent size, and worth the money.

Great when you have to leave for a few days. Hermit crabs enjoy breaking these down and will often take some back to their hiding place.

I was a bit surprised to find that these were not the average size, but much smaller. It was not a major issue, and they still served their purpose, even though they were considerably more expensive.

My crabs loved these - perfext size for them and it gave them a variety every other week or so, definitely long lasting - they carried them around the tank with them!

HE LOVED IT

Not sure why so many other hermit crab don’t like these, but ours pick away at them all the time! We’ve been buying these for years and always have one available, plus we add an extra when we are away.
