OFIPencil Sharpener Heavy Duty for #2 & φ6.5-8mm Pencil Sharpener Plug in… (Black)

Wonderful. Works all by itself and does a great job. The only thing is the tip isnt needle sharp like with a manual. the most minuscule end of the tip is flat.. but the pencil still comes to a really beautiful point.

My friend that teaches next to me has this pencil sharpener. After using it a few times, I decided to get one for my classroom. It’s a very good sharpener at a decent price.

I bought this to send in to my child’s classroom about a month ago. My child told me that it broke while someone was using it.

You have to put a new pencil in many many times to get it sharp enough to even use. It took about 10 times to even get down to the lead. I threw this piece of garbage where it belonged—in the garbage. I was so upset I didn’t even want to have it in my possession long enough to return it.

I ordered this OFI brand fully automatic USB rechargeable pencil sharpener for myself to sharpen my professional grade drawing pencils and professional grade colored pencils. This pencil sharpener fits most of my expensive pencils. It fits up to an 8mm wide pencil and the 7.5mm to 8mm pencils are a tight fit. For example, this sharpener fits my Prismacolor colored pencils but it's a tight fit because they're 8mm wide. I have to push them into the sharpener but it does work and this sharpener gives a nice sharp point. This is really important to me and other colored pencil artists,because Prismacolors are the most widely used professional grade colored pencil in the United States.I have several different brands of colored pencils and this pencil sharpener does fit my expensive pencils. It fits my Caran D'Ache Pablo's very comfortably without needing to push them into the sharpener. That's important to me because they're my favorite set of colored pencils. This sharpener also fits my Inktense pencils but snugly. Inktense are 8mm like Prismacolors.This sharpener has a right fit for my other pencils, like my Caran D'Ache Pitt Pastels, Derwent Signature pencils, Caran d'Ache Luminace pencils, Van Gogh Royal Talens, Derwent Polychromos, or Derwent Signature colored pencils.This pencil sharpener adjusts to each pencil, giving it the perfect level of sharpness. It also has an auto stop feature to avoid oversharpening and ruining your expensive pencils. The auto stop function and auto release function are both really nice. I bought this pencil sharpener for my kids cause the 2 I bought from another place never would work. I bought this one and I have no complaints about it. It does what it’s supposed to do.

I sew for a living and burn through water soluble pencils fast, so I use this sharpener roughly 20 times a day. I like that it's rechargable and I can tote it with my as I mark my patterns instead if getting up evey few minutes and going to it. This can also be used while it's plugged in and charging. I've owned plenty of cordless sharpeners, and this one is the best I've had to date. It really is automatic, push the pencil in until it trigger the motor on, then lightly hold the pencil with out pushing it down. Once it's done the machine goes in reverse and pushes the pencil back up. Gotta love that! What's more important to me is I use water soluble pencils, and most sharpeners break the tip/lead, this OGI doesn't! This is fairly large compared to others I have and had. The diameter is close in size to many round sharpeners, but this is roughly twice the height of others. I attribute it's size to the shavings capacity which holds alot, so the frequency to emptying it is much less. Which by the way is simple, the entire translucent container comes off the base, and the top which holds the spiral sharpening blade also twists off. The adjustable sharpness dial on the front has indents showing how sharp or blunt it will sharpen, it has 5 sharpness settings. Heads up, it says it has a USB C type charge port, mine came with a micro USB port and a USB C cable. Which was OK since I have micro USB cords everywhere. I'm pleased with its performance and will be ordering another one once this one quits working, which I expect it to last me at least a few years. Hopefully this was helpful, Thank you!

Really great pencil sharpener. Total automated and it let’s you know when it is done sharpening. Has different sharpening settings. Very easy to use. Really happy with the purchase so far.
