Okay for simple needs
This ointment is unique... not a vaseline type ointment...more of a liquid base.. it is 'okay', not great, like I need in the winter... but - if you want a 'basic' type of a lip repair, it will do...

Wind Burn Relief, Protecting and Preventing
I use this every day to protect myself from mountain air wind burns out west. My lips get so chapped when I am hiking and climbing and this really helps me not have to focus on that when I am in the middle of difficult climbs. It lasts a good amount of time and I do not suffer later at night after being out all day. It seems to prevent damage in the moment but also heal up what has been damaged. SO that is cool.

FANTASTIC PRODUCT
I have been using this product for about a month and I LOVE IT! Not only do I love the healing benefits from being out in the sun, wind and on the boat regularly. I also love that it does not have a terrible taste like most lip products. I tend to get dried lips when I am outside a lot. I really think this repair ointment is making a huge difference!

Not impressed
Yuck! Doesn't work and tastes yucky. It smells and tastes like rose geranium. Plus too expensive.
