Flightform 3711V Flatback Mandolin Case

It's a case. My first summer camp as a kid, fifth grade maybe, my mom bought me a suitcase made of cardboard, probably a couple bucks. Nonetheless I was proud of it and cared for and used it for years. Not since then have I seen a case of any kind so cheap. I was looking for a home for my tenor pineapple ukulele (type that in your search engine, along with "case" for an exercise in futility.) This one seemed to fit the bill and the price was manageable. Many thanks to the person who answered my question on inside measurements. Good news is, my pineapple tenor uke fits. More good news, there's room enough for some padding. I'll be shopping for some quilted remnants and pieces of foam, an evening project unplanned. Sitting around the house or riding on my car's back seat is probably the limit of its protection.

Needed a case quickly before traveling and this was the solution with my prime account. Case is pretty flimsy and the clasps are weak. For the price I did not expect world class....but I will find another option before traveling with my mando again.

Perhaps my expectations were too high, but this case does not meet those expectations. It has a thin frame and is not well padded inside. I bought a scratch and dent model so it was ok for the price. Had I paid full price I would have returned it.

This is a good hard case. Would be better with some padding for the instrument. Works well for my son's mandolin.
