This bowl was wood fired in Justin Lambert's (Justin is one of the best wood fired potters in the country) teardrop anagama wood burning kiln to Cone 10 over 64 hours, then cooled in reduction. The kiln atmosphere, and wood ash gives the exterior of the bowl all this color, and ash glaze. No applied glaze to the outside of this bowl, the inside is glazed with a blue shino.
